Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Brilliant trip with a great skipper. Great to be on the water and to see the amazing rock formations and wildlife. Make sure that you book and give Steve a ring if you need to check if the weather will be ok. Apparently Orca whales can sometimes be spotted in the loch. You might get lucky, who knows? We saw the seals and the beautiful waterfall. Would recommend. Thanks Steve!

We took the trip to see the wildlife and waterfall, on our way back were told of a pod of dolphins in the Loch and would we want to see if we could find them, we did it was amazing
I strongly recommend this boat trip
The pilot didn’t need to take us to see the dolphins but he took us and without accepting a tip from the customers

Excellent boat trip. We saw otters, seals and a dolphin in their natural setting Stunning scenery especially around the waterfall. The skipper was helpful & knowledgeable. Who knew there were so many xcrafts below the surface! A highly recommended activity. Great cup of coffee afterwards in the cafe!

We had a brilliant time taking an outing with Steve. He was so knowledgeable about not only the wildlife, but the history and geology of the area. I've been visiting Kylesku for years but still learned something new! We saw more seals than we could count and had an absolutely fantastic sight of the falls at the end of the loch. Made all the more special by being able to bring our dog along too. Thank you so much!

Last minute decision to hop onboard.
Very knowledgeable captain only too happy to answer any questions.
Info sheets and binoculars available on board. We saw lots of seals, a sea eagle (all be it far far away) many different birds and kylesku bridge from underneath! 10/10 recommend x

£22 each, worth at least £30 each. We were on this boat for nearly 90 minutes, we saw so many seals. We saw the waterfall that is higher than Niagra falls & we saw 2 sea eagles. We went under the Kylesku bridge on the way back which was a real treat. I would definitely recommend this to family & friends & I would definitely do it again.

A really enjoyable trip with lots of wildlife and useful commentary. Really can’t fault the experience and well worth an hour of the holiday. It was one of our highlights of the NC500

We booked a trip through their webpage
three weeks in advance and received an
email confirming the booking. We arrived
at the allocated time but no boat. The man
who eventually answered the phone said
they were closed for maintenance and
quite rudely suggested I had booked a tour
with a different company despite the fact I
was calling his mobile directly from his
confirmation email. He offered no apology
and suggested I return the following day,
which was impossible given the distance we
had travelled to get to Kylesku. Totally unprofessional.

We had a blue sky day, perfect for a trip up the Loch. Beautiful scenery with an informative skipper. We were very lucky seeing 8 Golden eagles and 4 Sea Eagles. Don’t forget your binoculars.

A marvellous experience, this boat trip takes you to the head of Loch Glencoul and into the heart of some very remote territory. Tony, the captain of the boat and owner of the business, is a real character and a great source of local information. Good views of seals with the possibility of spotting otters, although unfortunately we didn’t see any on the day. Also good to see the elegant curved form of the Kylesku Bridge from below. Highly recommended.
