Great hour and a half trip to one end of the Loch and back. Some lovely views of seals with pups, who were remarkably unbothered by our presence. The highest waterfall in the UK was flowing well for our visit due to recent rains. Our host James was full of interesting information and had laminated close up photos of various things for us to look at. Not cheap at £30, but not at all unreasonable either. Goes from the slipway right outside the hotel so very hand for food or drinks before/after the trip. To make it extra good, dog was made welcome - we were very glad as we couldn’t have gone otherwise as we had no dog sitter.…

If you want to get off the beaten path and see some really unique and beautiful birds and landscape this is a must trip. Weather, wind and waves permitting. First rate experience!

Boat trip lasts about 90mins, and costs £30. Get about 12 in the boat. The crew were very enthusiastic about the Loch and surrounding area and we're very informative about the geology. Saw some seals. Viewing the waterfall at the end of the Loch is a lot easier by boat than any other way. …

Guide and pilot very friendly. Around 90 minutes trip with lots to see including wildlife and some old settlements not visible from roads. Waterfall area is quite moody and very quiet. The hotel offers excellent food for lunch after the trip. It was cold on the day we did it and you are outside so layer up. All in a fun trip and good value. …
