Excellent trip out on the Loch. We bought the tickets during the covid situation from the Loch Ness visitor centre and we were collected by minibus from the hotel right next door. The trip to the boat was just a few minutes and the cruise on Loch Ness was beautiful. Ali was really helpful and friendly and made sure my young son was entertained too, even helping out by taking a family pic pf us all. I can't recommend this tour enough, go for it.

We booked our trip while at the Loch Ness Centre. We had thought a cruise would take too long, but this was a one hour round trip and included being picked up in a mini-van from right outside the ticket office. The tour included a decent amount of time out on the lake and also a chance to sail in close to Urquhart Castle. The minibus ride is just a few minutes, going from the centre to the private jetty - so it does not take very long to get there and back. The cruise was brilliant and our skipper/guide very informative and knowledgeable. He was a great host and his passion for the job really came through. Even though he does this many times a day and has been doing it for ages, he still managed to sound welcoming and interested in discussing any questions. Absolutely worth doing and I think Deep Scan is a great little boat to see the lake in.

Gordon picked us up, as arranged in drumnadrochit car park. He drove the short distance to his boat and in the blink of an eye we were out on loch ness. Gordon fed us with local knowledge and history, dates, names, events so much insider information. He clearly loves this loch and it weaves through his life. Cant recommend this trip enough. Late teens and 2 adults were completely hooked.
