Fantastic little cafe at the back. Shame food service was quite limited The Scottish breakfast is excellent value for money and extremely well made with lovely ingredients This is without black pudding and haggis

The locks themselves were fun. The centre was mostly a shop along with a cafe with only a very small couple of rooms about the canal itself. Compared to other visitor centers in Scotland, it was a little disappointing.More

We stopped here for some coffee and cake - the coffee was very good and the cake was great. Excellent service and the staff were smiling as my toddler stomped back and forth in the cafe and gift shop.
