Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our favourite shop in Fort Augustus hands down, always have to pay it a visit and never leave empty handed. Such a friendly welcome and gorgeous things to tempt you.

A very cute gift shop. You got to see the glass gifts being made right in front of you, and you could even wear glasses and see through the flames!! Staff were lovely and chatty

Some beautiful glass items for sale, some made on the premises that you can watch being created. Come away with lovely little treasures of your visit. Friendly people who take care of the items you purchase

Lovely shop with small glass blowing study where you can see the proprietor at work. Nice range of own-made and bought in goods, great value and great customer interaction and service…had a cracking chat with the proprietor. We’ll worth a visit and good opportunity to pick up some stocking filler presents.

Visited in August with our young son, Leo, who was shy at first but wanted help. The lovely Kate was serving and she stopped what she was doing and couldn’t do enough to help my son. Clearly her customer service was a hit as my son bought his “girlfriend” a present as well as two other pieces for himself. He also insisted his mum went into the shop later to spend some
money and check to see if Kate remembered him.

Great little shop, some lovely and quirky glass items and the warmest welcome you could ask for. Highly recommended.

I don’t even know where to start...

We first visited last year on our holiday and returned this year.

My son LOVES watching the glass blowing & the staff love to have a good chat about what they are doing.

We came a few times (so much so my son insisted on popping in to say goodbye before we left!) the products in store are gorgeous, I wish I had room to take more home!

No only that but there customer service is without a doubt the best!

You certainly made my little boy very happy!

This place was recommended to us by the Clansman Center. Beautiful handmade glassworks at very reasonable prices. The woman at the cash was extremely helpful as well when we mentioned we would be in the Oban area during the next few days, she provided some wonderful advice on touring for us! Like most shops in Fort Augustus, it’s best to visit during an off hour when the Loch Ness cruise is out on the lake and the tour busses have not decended (usually late afternoon).
