Great shop, fantastic customer service.
Aug 2020 • Family
Visited in August with our young son, Leo, who was shy at first but wanted help. The lovely Kate was serving and she stopped what she was doing and couldn’t do enough to help my son. Clearly her customer service was a hit as my son bought his “girlfriend” a present as well as two other pieces for himself. He also insisted his mum went into the shop later to spend some
money and check to see if Kate remembered him.

Great little shop, some lovely and quirky glass items and the warmest welcome you could ask for. Highly recommended.

I don’t even know where to start...

We first visited last year on our holiday and returned this year.

My son LOVES watching the glass blowing & the staff love to have a good chat about what they are doing.

We came a few times (so much so my son insisted on popping in to say goodbye before we left!) the products in store are gorgeous, I wish I had room to take more home!

No only that but there customer service is without a doubt the best!

You certainly made my little boy very happy!

This place was recommended to us by the Clansman Center. Beautiful handmade glassworks at very reasonable prices. The woman at the cash was extremely helpful as well when we mentioned we would be in the Oban area during the next few days, she provided some wonderful advice on touring for us! Like most shops in Fort Augustus, it’s best to visit during an off hour when the Loch Ness cruise is out on the lake and the tour busses have not decended (usually late afternoon).

Amazing

On a day trip to Fort Augustus, we came across this fabulous glass making studio.
We were fascinated with the heating of the glass and how the ornaments were made.
The friendly lady talked us through what she was doing and we had a lovely browse through the shop, my daughter fell in love with a beautiful deep purple glass horse ornament and the lady was so kind and chatted to her as she bought it.
This lovely wee shop was a pleasant break from the woollen scarves and tourist tack that has saturated the shops around Loch Ness areas (we are fairly local so see a bit much of that) thank you so much.

Fun visit!

We really enjoyed popping in and watching the shopkeeper do her craft. She very patiently explained the process to us, and even had helpful glasses right there that let you see better what’s going on within the flame. Would have bought more if we had thought we could get it home in one piece, but our little Nessie arrived safe and sound!

Must visit if you're in Fort Augustus

Watching the young lady manipulate glass items is fascinating and reminds me of glass blowing I watched years ago. Her artistry is outstanding and the number of unique items in her shop is worth the visit. We purchased a number of baubles as well as two Nessie water pipettes for whisky. We visited the shop 2 years prior and were really glad we had the opportunity to return.
