There is a viewpoint halfway down the steps. That's probably as far as you need to go to see the falls as the view doesn't change much at the bottom. Very steep steps so be ready for some exercise. Plenty of paths to follow and...More

Fine wooded walk, probably better after rainfall! Pleasant tea rooms in Foyers at the top by car park

This place is magic. Very easy an access and breathtaking walk across the area. The fall itself it's not that big but the surroundings and the atmosphere it's astonishing.

Great walk, though sometimes steep. When in the area and the weather is good it is recommended to do it.

A steep half mile walk is rewards by magnificent views of the falls, take a moment before climbing back up. Well worth the effort.

Must confess we only went to the first viewing platform as we visited on a rainy Sunday afternoon just after a delicious pub lunch but the view was well worth the many steps!!!!

One of the "things to do" in the Caley Cruisers guide is to visit the Foyers falls, so on our return to Inverness via Loch Ness we thought we'd stop by as the weather was superb and we were ahead of schedule. We tried to...More

Just over 30 minutes depending on traffic, the road gets narrow in places and you have to stop at 'passing places' but it's a lovely drive down that side of the Loch and you get a nice view of Urquhart Castle
