Go in winter! It's beautiful on a clear skies and frozen day. Plus there's fewer people about! You can do various different length walks, right alongside the water, and make sure you download the local guide from the forestry commission. They're free. The guides are...More

Parked up in the free car park with a little walk through the woods to a wonderful waterfall. Yes it isn't high and thunderous but its long and definitely spectacular. Plus it costs nothing.

The falls are visible from the road bridge over the A 82 but we parked in the large car park and walked through the woods to the stone hut over looking the river. The woods are pleasant to walk through with lots of paths but...More

This is a little hidden gem. The walk from the car park takes minutes, the car park is free and there is also toliets. You can see the falls from the bridge but it is well worth the walk through the forest and get a...More

Love this place, the falls are great and the walk around the forest in all its Autumn glory was a sight to behold.

Very nice, pretty area, easily visible and easy to get to. Get a sandwich from the coffee shop up the road and bring it here for a picnic.

We got to seek it in it’s full glory due to heavy rain. We stayed at The Bridge Suite, literally a 2 minute walk away and our hosts had never seen the waterfall flowing so fast. It was wonderful, it’s not a high waterfall but...More

Easy parking, nice short walk alongside the river. The falls are cute and the summer house over the river is a particularly novel way of viewing a waterfall.

took photos on Friday and Saturday similar to those submitted. Storm Callum on Sunday/Monday and Tuesday was incredible. The rocks disappeared under a tremendous torrent. One of the highlights of our trip

This is a hidden gem where trees, water, and stone bridges are all present. The amazing thing about this site is that no one appears to be aware of it; we had it all to ourselves for over an hour. This is one of the...More

Only a few minutes, there is a track to the side if the toilet block which leads through the wood and to the falls. it can be very muddy so wear good boots or wellies and is quite uneven. Worth the short walk.
