I had heard that the falls were worth a visit but couldn’t find them initially. They aren’t sign posted but you’ll find a walk way at the back of the main car park in the town which takes you to them. We went during a...More

Fantastic find, out of the way and such stunning scenery it’s worth the short walk, parking is easy and walk to summerhouse if you have time, makes the view of the Scottish highlands even better. If you struggle with walking it’s a bit difficult to...More

No signage, hidden entrance near a big car park where tourist buses stop for toilets at Invermoriston, short stroll and nice walk with steep river sides and many water falls, look for the summer house!

I had no idea about this place but our guide did. So glad we stopped! Need story about an epic battle between the fairies, goblins & trolls. This country is just stunning.

We stopped on the way through to Fort Augustus, and having parked up walked to it. Lovely view, and even better when the water is running high. Hard for a disabled person to get closer, but they can see quite well from the bridge. Be...More

Nice place to park while driving round the loch, free council toilets which is ideal! A wee stretch down the walk to see some nice falls. Catch this at wrong time and I imagine the car park would be filled with bus tours as it's...More

Only a few minutes, there is a track to the side if the toilet block which leads through the wood and to the falls. it can be very muddy so wear good boots or wellies and is quite uneven. Worth the short walk.

Yes, there's parking, toilets and picnic tables. All free. Trail starts at one side of the car park, actually.
