This church is no longer used for worship, but is looked after very well by a national charity for disused churches. Plenty of box pews, interesting decoration, just very lovely inside.

This Reformation-era church was in the last five years magnificently restored with Lottery finding. It breathes tranquillity and centuries of devotion; its kirkyard is extraordinarily atmospheric. Much of Cromarty's history is to be found here.

Voted for this some years ago on the Reclamation program . been on a few occasion since and watch it come back to life. What a super place, go see and support.

Love what they did (and didn't) do to restore this wonderful church. somehow you feel the congregation could come back and pick up where they left off in the 18th century or thereabouts. Hidden gem.
