Although the place is very touristy It has an impressive array of whiskies to taste. You will need to pay for it though. The distillery is huge and worth to visit.

Called in on the way back from the Orkney Islands and had a great tour. The girl taking the tour was very patient as she did not rush through the tour. She was knowledgeable and answered all questions. Loved going into the old warehouses with all the casks. At the end of the tour, we went into the tasting room... More

Fairly standard tour, the distillery itself is beautiful, the stills in particular are magnificent, so striking and recognisable. Our male guide seemed a little bored with the tour and his limp attempts at jokes fell flat. Didn't detract from the distillery at all, the whisky was fantastic and the shop was well stocked and really reasonably priced.

I have visited several distilleries and this one is ok but not the best I have visited. If you are in the area it is worth a visit but I do not think this is the best tour. The staff a friendly and informative but if you have the chance try several others.

I'm going to start off by saying that this review is a little biased because I am a huge fan flof their scotch. We came in from Texas with this being on the top of my list to visit. The only other distillery I would have liked to visit would be Balvenie. Picked this one as we were staying in... More

The Glenmorangie destillerie is visited by a lot of visitors. That gives them great experience and everything must be in order. And it really is. It even is just a little to perfect. But still we had a nice experience.

I have to say that as a fan of the whisky I did expect to enjoy this a lot more. After a thimble full of "The Original", I just couldn't see any value in the products or merchandise offered for sale. Other smaller distilleries are much more generous with their products for the tourists.
