    Valley View Winter Wonderland
Visited with our almost 3yo granddaughter mid December and mid-week. It’s safe to say it was a magical experience! 🎅🏻🎄 From the moment we arrived, staff were friendly and approachable. The layout of the wonderland trail was almost irresistible to our wee one, with eye catching and musical displays all the way through. The “main man” was friendly and encouraging and patient. (To us all)! Following that rather special encounter, we spent time in the fun fair, enjoying hot drinks and shortbread. (Perhaps additional seating/tables could be provided)? Our granddaughter enjoyed time here as well, and it provided us with many happy memories of our own childhoods! From here, we visited the restaurant for lunch and although there was a small queue, it was well managed and quickly cleared. I suspect later in the month and at weekends it will be very busy. The food was lovely and freshly prepared, and the area was kept spotlessly clean by the staff. Thanks to all for a magical day out. I have no doubt we will return next year! 🎄🎅🏻

    Great day out
First time there with our granddaughter, we all had a great time. Considering buying an annual pass for next year now. Only wish there was more swing for toddlers. Staff very friendly and food was good too, definitely recommend it.

    Not the best experience
Initially I thought this was good value for money at just over £20 for the whole day for my partner and I and our 5 year old but was very disappointed to find a lot of things you need to pay extra for. The go carts, the tractor, the mini golf all require extra payment via cash only (no cash machine anywhere at the park either!) and this wasn’t made clear at any stage during the booking process. Not having any cash with us my son was left upset he couldn’t go on quite a few things. Not the best experience.

Have been here a few times but came on this occasion with another family with young children, wasn’t happy at all on this visit, park was expensive just to enter with 5 adults needing to pay as well, plus the extra charges again within the park for various other activities. Outside toilets were anything but clean and fresh and gents inside wasn’t much better. Stayed for something to eat, again nothing to rave about, family had a couple of issues regarding their food that we complained about but whoever the women was running the place was anything but helpful, spent more time carrying on with other staff and clearly had friends at a table that we’re getting well taken care of! We weren’t impressed to say the least!!

Hi Thanks for getting in touch with your review. Our prices are listed to allow you decide if you want to visit the Adventure Park, fortunately most of our reviews are from visitors who are delighted with the value for money as there's lots to do and adults can get involved too. I will pass your comments on regarding the toilets to the Manager as I know they are cleaned and tended to regularly through out the day. We are surprised by your review of the restaurant and are sorry this was your experience. Again your point will be highlighted with the team. Kind Regards Marie Goulding

After many months of absence due to restrictions I returned, with a bit of trepidation, to Valley View for lunch. A hitherto regular occurrence. The precautions in force and care the staff were taking in dealing with customers was reassuring prompting a further visit. My only criticism is that a member of staff was removing trays and dishes from the tables while customers were still eating or drinking. The member of staff was wearing a face covering but the customers, including myself, were elderly and due to still eating or drinking had no face coverings.
I appreciate that in normal times that this is the procedure in this establishment. It may however be prudent in these times to clear the table when the customer has vacated their table.

Awful toxic environment, food in the cafe is rotten, ordered a normal coffee and a dairy alternative coffee, staff could t tell the different wasn’t sure which was which!. We had several young children with us the youngest being 2 and the oldest 8, the weather was rubbish and we saw there was a soft play so got the kids excited that there was a soft play.. when we went to enter the soft play we where informed it was for under 7s only and that the child who was 8 could not get in, as we where a large group with very young children we asked to speak with a manager as there was no signage to acknowledge this. A woman came over (who was not the manager just a worker to get her 2 cents in) eventually the manager came who was fairly passive aggressive, she would probably try to put the blame on us, she then told us actually the soft play is for under 6s (so don’t staff have training and know the ages?) with all Info on the website to which point they left a 8 year old child In hysterics as they told her she can’t go in to sit with her family and friends. I told her this was unacceptable as I did t use the website I saw in person and there was no age limits in sight, I was responded to this that they had passed all health and safety inspections and didn’t need this and it was all inside (no use to me if they don’t let me inside) one thing they certainly don’t pass on is customer service as their attitude is stinking.. staff are rude and untrained with a god complex. Won’t be back.

Passing through we stopped here for a quick meal, first impression of restaurant was quite old fashioned, food wasn’t any better my wife had the fish which you could see was just a plate of frozen bought in products and tasteless, my macaroni again tasteless, lukewarm gloop. Complained to young waitress who in turn pointed out a girl that was manager and would inform her, she obviously didn’t regard our complaint important, didn’t come near, spent more time giggling with other staff to bother with us, decided we’d just leave, quickly went to gents toilets which were absolutely stinking of urine. Can safely say we will continue to drive past next time over this way.

Visited recently with grandchildren, was way overpriced, adults being charged was uncalled for, my mother of 80 wasn’t going to go on trampolines and I certainly wasn’t either. Was too busy for my liking with what’s currently going on, my mother made a comment about her coffee to a waitress Nicola or Nicky only to be rudely snapped at, not the nicest of staff at all. Won’t be rushing back here again, family park further along the Clyde was far more organised and pleasant!

Hi We appreciate all feedback and will pass it on. There are entry fees for all and this is advertised before you decide to pay, you will find this is the case at any similar attractions. We are surprised by your comment about the staff as this is not the feedback we are used to receiving. Sorry your visit wasn't enjoyable. Kind Regards

Visited here for the first time yesterday and is was fantastic. £26 for a family if four but well worth the money, some of the activities cost an extra £1 but that is to be expected. My five and 8 years old grandchildren had a ball trying out all the activities. I went with them on the tractor ride which runs alongside the banks of the clyde. The driver was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. We saw a crane and the driver pointed out its nest, my son sun a salmon leap. Driver explained about the corn fields, santas new grotto, the type of fish in the water and about the raspberries that are used for making gin. I have taken away some new knowledge thanks to him.
Plenty of tables for to sit and enjoy your own picnic or there is a van on site selling gouldings hot food. We are now looking at taking out a family membership

Just back from a wonderful 5 hours at Valley Park. Arrived early and managed to whizz round all the attractions before it got too busy. Gave us a good idea of what we wanted to go back to and queue if need be. Staff were excellent, cleaning and sanitising stations were to the fore and picnic tables well spaced with bins easily spotted. Sunshine made it special of course, but I would definitely visit again anyway.
Visited restaurant who dealt with trace and protect without fuss. Service was quick and well organised.
Not the cheapest day out but these places are what YOU make of them when you are visiting with little, and not so little people! 💜

After being in lockdown for so long, and with no get away summer holidays, me and my wife decided that we would use our weekends to take the kids around Scotland.

My grandparents were from Lanark, and for years I wanted to go back for old times sake, but my wife was not so sure, then one day my mother recommended Valley View as a great place to visit.

Located in the Clyde Valley, its not that far off the M74, so very accessible across the central belt.

May seem a little pricey (£23 for a family of 4) and at first glance you might think "this will only kill an hour"..... 4 hour later and we were still there.

My two daughters (3 and 7) loved it and wanted to try everything, my eldest especially loved the Mayze Maze and the football golf, and my youngest we could not get off the trampoline all day.

All in all a fantastic day out and will almost certainly be back here again in future.

Great night out. Actors were really in character and quite spooky. Trip through the Maze was excellent. A real Maze in a high maize field. Lots of frightening surprises. Everyone did that wee bit extra to make it special. Even my ten age grandson had a ball. And a nice hot burger and coffee to heat us back up. Thank you for a great night. Will look out for your next event.
