Nipped in here for a few drinks one Saturday night after never stepping foot inside the place since living in strathaven. Wow, so much stuff going on inside here, feels cluttered almost. Could do with a good overhaul.
This is a lovely family-run pub in the centre of the town. It seems to pull the community together and when we called in we were made very welcome by everyone.
The pub is comfortably decorated with a warming fire in the winter.

Great selection of real ales and incredibly friendly both behind the bar and amongst the customers. I was amazed how enthusiastic the landlords were about the beers and their awards. Also loved the great pictures on the walls, good talking point.
