The gardens are open for charity under Scotland's Gardens scheme between April and September - see website for times. Paths through the 1 acre hillside garden lead from one 'room' to the next with a new experience around every corner (plus excellent views over East Loch Roag). Enjoy the floral bonanza of our herbaceous borders and bog gardens, sheltered and exposed beds. And don't forget the veg.

This garden is tucked away but well worth a visit. The planting is well thought out and has a truly wonderful cottage garden feel.. It is much bigge than it looks from the road.

Tucked away in Upper Carloway on Lewis, this private garden is close to other attractions such as the Carloway Broch and the Callanish Standing Stones. It is a powerful testament to the gardening skills of its owners, who have developed the garden over thirty years,...More

You would never have thought that so many attractive plants and vegetables could thrive in west Lewis. The guided tour is a very good investment of time.
