Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went to cinema last Saturday, when we came out from the movie at 8:45, the bar was closed. There was 3 or 4 groups of people went to go to the bar to get a round of drinks and were disappointed getting told at that time they were closed. The movie wasn’t a sell out but there was a number of people wanting to have a drink afterwards so was very disappointing on a Saturday night to see the place closed so early. Especially when online it says you close at 11pm.

Multi-purpose venue run by friendly staff. Very disappointed to find this arts centre has stopped serving local beers, not even the bottled Isle of Skye beers they used to serve. Please promote local products.

Staff rude in the cafe. One kept their back to us and obviously ignored us. Made to wait until the dishwasher was loaded. Asked if they served food as couldn’t see a menu on the table. Staff member pointed to board soup and sandwiches only and walked away. So did we

It's described as 'Smoked haddock, potato, spring onion, butter & cream'. It looks like thick paste, with an indeterminable solid in the middle, and a couple of chunks of potato.. It tastes of salt. No sign of smoked haddock or spring onion. I strongly suspect reconstituted from a packet. Some meals to other tables seemed OK.

Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Chef Luke is very creative and friendly. You would be suprised to see edible flowers in soups but it works magic. Manager Lilian served us twice, at lunchtime and at dinner time, sharing her local knowledge. It was brilliant experience in Stornoway

We went here for a coffee but despite large areas being empty we were told there were no tables available. Based on observation during this visit whilst there were some impressive artwork on display the area felt under utilised.
