It’s not a park, it’s a bona-fide fairy forest.

Absolutely breathtaking scenery. We walked here from the car park in Tobermory expecting to find the grounds of a stately home, or something similar. Instead, there was a beautiful forest path full of bluebells and rhododendrons, and wild animals, leading to a waterfall and little loch.

It is quite a trek from Tobermory, so make sure to bring some decent walking boots and a bottle of water. Also, if you are planning to walk round the loch, too, bear in mind that this may take many hours.

Pretty place
May 2021
Really nice park to visit, lots of routes or off-route paths to go on. Signposts weren't massively clear though but we found our way around anyway and found places we probably wouldn't have if we stuck to paths!
The toilets are still closed though and there are no bins.

A lovely walk from Tobermory through woods with views over Tobermory Bay onto a nice Loch then back along the same route. Really enjoyed it.

A lovely place no matter what season you visit
Sep 2020
This is a lovely place to visit whatever the time of year and there are several different options available. The longer option is to walk along the road from Tobermory then, after visiting the park return through the woods and along the bay path. Or you can drive, park in the park itself (mind the potholes on the entrance road!) and do several different walks of varying lengths. The paths are well signed and there's a lake, waterfalls and shore to choose from. There are picnic tables too.

a lovely waterfall walk
Feb 2020
We started from Tobermory and walked out past waterfalls, around the loch and back. This was a pretty woodland walk, with several waterfalls, some of them quite spectacular. We took this gently, so it was around 3 hours.

Brilliant walk from Mull to the lake and back
Sep 2019
We really enjoyed this walk, well signposted from next to the aquarium in Tobermory, up along a coastal path (slightly muddy on the path but nowhere else in particular), not too steep but a bit up and down in places, suitable for anyone reasonably fit can do it. There are some nice views along the way and some lovely waterfalls. The highlight of the walk is the beautiful lake at the end of the path, lily pads and nice even path all the way around. If you walk up from the the right hand side of the lake there is a car park and toilet, take the path to the left of the toilet and it takes you back to the original path back to Tobermory, in total it takes between 1 and 2 hours depending how much you stop and admire the views and your levels of fitness...Enjoy.
