Lovely little aquarium. Reasonable price and a great way to spend a few hours on a wet and windy afternoon.

A big bonus is that your entry ticket is valid all day so you can return at any point. It goes without saying this is a lifesaver activity if it's raining too. Despite being small there's a lot crammed in here including plenty of interactive stuff. The touch pool sessions are incredible and even the adults were involved in this. The staff talk through some of the animals and then allow everyone to have a go at holding them. I was also mesmerised by the computer-generated contour line sand pit. Basically if you build a hill in the sand a computer beams down height colour and contours on it, in real time, that alters as you change it. I think i was possible more impressed than some of the children. In another room was an expert talking through microscopic crustaceans like copepods and shrimp using a TV and microscope to capture them swimming around. Older children were enthralled with this.

It's very small but cute with hands on displays and octopuses to view. Several interactive displays geared for kids.

We popped in on their last day of the season. We enjoyed the touch pool with the chance to hold a crab a scallop and a star fish. We were then able to join in with the Release Party, helping to put the creatures back in the sea. All round great experience.

We popped in here, it is a real little find, albeit there is not alot to see. The aquarium and the staff were amazing. The guy who showed us the things he found under the microscope was so friendly and knowledgeable and the hands on session with the tank was fantastic. The service was so good and our son loved it.
