Terrible service. Impolite and unwilling to work. He even missed out stops.

We are a hiking group, and booked 8 hours per day. Most of the time he could take a rest as we were hiking. But still he always complain about our itinerary as we modified according to the weather - when it’s a rainy day and windy day, we changed to go sightseeing first instead of hiking. That makes sense right?

During the drive, he was mumbling all the time. Complained about our stops in somewhere he doesn’t know - come on! It’s just hiking points in Skye. It’s famous.

Most importantly, he missed the stop of Glenfinnan. He lied that we didn’t tell him. Well we have 6 people in the car. It’s him who forgot about it.

Lastly, we planned the service ended at 3pm at Fort William but he complained about going home late.

We actually communicated about the itinerary on emails. If he is not willing to take this job, he shouldn’t have taken it and blame us. If he wants to complain, just blame his colleagues. But I heard that he is the business owner!?

As goodwill gesture, we even went off the vehicle and helped with gas filling. When the vehicle stuck in mud, we went down and help pushing. What have I done to deserve this kind of service? Why was I blamed for going to places I want while I actually paid extra for that?

Really, we prepared good amount of tips as thankyou as we always respect people who helped us. But at the end decided not to give any.

You know what? I bring tourists to Isle of Skye every year. Our long termed partner has retired that’s why I used Gus. But I will never use this company again. So many tourists, looks like he can take up other jobs anyway. To him, we are bad clients anyway.

Never again.

I hired a Minibus with driver through this company for my 4 days trip from Fort William to Isle of Skye. Everyday we have 8 hours to use the car.

The driver name Gus, he is also the owner of the business.

In the first Day, Gus arrived 15 minutes late to the pick up location. I understand that he needed to come from Skye and he has a prosthetic leg so this is not a big problem.

We stayed at Skye for four days because we planned do some hiking, when we finish our lunch(about 2pm) and tell Gus our next stop. He started complaining left at 7 this morning and just want to go back to Portree and finish the day as soon as possible.

At the end we do some short walk and go back to Portree 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled time.

Second day, we went to Brothers Point to have a walk, I take us about 2hours. He don’t understand what we are doing and complain about we kept him waiting. After lunch we went to Quiraing, same as Brother Point, we spent about 3 hours to hike and he kept complaining. At the end we finish our day 1 hour earlier(not his problem)

Third day, It was originally planned that we would go to Fairy Pool first, and then go to Neist Point Lighthouse after lunch, but due to the bad weather, I changed my mind and planned to go to the lighthouse first. He start complaining for no reason and said some sarcasm that pretends to be a joke. At the end we finish 2 hours earlier due to the bad weather.

Forth day, we are back from Portree to Fort William. I clearly told him our plan was going to Storr in the morning then take the ferry to Mallaig then watch to steam train pass Glenfinnan Viaduct.

He started complaining again that it was almost 7pm to get back to Skye. Since he just wants to get to fort william quickly, he forgot to stop at Glenfinnan Viaduct. Luckily we still caught the time to see the steam train pass the viaduct. At the end we finish the day one hour earlier.

As a consumer, all I know is that I paid extra money for a 8 hours tour, not just transfer services from A to B. And because we have some hiking time, the driver only drives about three hours a day, most of the time he just waiting for us to come back, And the time it takes the driver to get home has nothing to do with me. If the driver can’t accept it, please don't take the job or raise the price at the beginning.

Usually I bring my customers visit Skye every year. I will never used this company again. If you are looking for minibus drivers, remember Gus will not accept any uncommon itinerary or any customer's request, he will only follow the itinerary he wants, otherwise he will keep complaining to you.

We (2 of us) had a fantastic day with Gus travelling around the Isle of Skye. He was an excellent guide - friendly, funny, knowledgeable and all round good company. He was also flexible with pick up / drop off and the itinerary. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

Gus is a great tour guide, he has it all. Whether you are a group of one (like me) or two, or three or four he provided the nudges necessary to put numerous cherries on the icing of the cake that is getting to explore Skye.

Gus was fantastic. We are an extended family of 6 adults and only had 2 nights on Skye. Gus met us at the train in Kyle of Lochalsh the first evening and dropped us at the White Heather Inn in Kyleakin. The next morning he picked us up at 9:00 for a full day tour. We started at the Fairy Pools (midges galore), then proceeded to the Talisker Distillery where Gus had booked us on a tour. From there we headed to Portree for lunch. Then on to see the Old Man of Storr (from a distance), Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls, the Quirang, and Fairy Glen (our favorite stop). Gus did a great job maneuvering the single track roads (and packed parking lots) and giving a running commentary on points of interest and history of Skye. Our tour ended around 6:00pm back at the hotel. But we saw Gus again in the morning when he took us to the Armadale ferry. Our original plan was to rent cars, but I'm so glad we ended up doing the tour with Gus instead.

We toured with Gus Graham for two days. The first day was to the Isle of Skye and he took us to the area where the MacKinnons owned land before it was confiscated by the King. At an old church and cemetery site, a large number of the headstones were Mackinnons. We saw everything there was to see on Skye, including the old MacKinnon castle ruins. Gus was very knowledgeable. The second day we toured Urquhart Castle and Culloden Battleground and ended up at Inverness so that we could take the train to London early the next day. We were very happy with the great tour of the area.

Our family of 4 (2 adults, children 11,15) went on the Inverness - Skye tour in July. We saw Loch Ness, Urquhart castle, Eileen donan (30 min photostop was all we needed), and then on to Skye and around the Trotternish peninsula, stopping at Portree for lunch. Being a small group tour (the van only seats 8), Gus our driver was able to be flexible with what we wanted to see, and knows Skye like the back of his hand!

This was a fantastic way to see Skye, and although we had really poor weather, the Island is still beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour of Skye to anyone visiting Scotland, and this tour from Inverness was perfect for what we needed!!
