Lovely view
May 2021
Great views from the viewing deck, also worth wandering around for fabulous views of the coast too. Parking is by donation, take a bit of cash.

Jaw dropping views
May 2021
Had the pleasure of visiting this place, stunning views, great idea to have the viewing platform too, great walk with the sheep to the very top to view the sea.

Worth seeing
May 2021
Unusually for Skye there is free parking here and a very short walk in either direction gives you a good view of the falls - if you cross the road you can take a 3 mile walk up to loch Culthir

well worth going to see

well worth going to visit, the falls are amazing, and easy to see and get to as well, no walking which is a bonus.

Excellent cantilever type viewpoint over the falls!

We hadn’t planned on stopping here but so glad we did! There was a lay-by with free parking and we had walked up the top but the best view is from the platform which is quite new. We stopped here between climbing the old man of storr and kilt rock, it was lovely and better than mealt falls.

Worth a Look
Sep 2020 • Couples
The falls are ok but I would not say spectacular. However there is another path which takes you to a view of the beach which still has remains of old buildings used by Salmon fishermen historically. There is also information and a walk along the route of a disused railway line to Loch Valeraine where historically Diatomite was mined which looked interesting though we did not have time to do.

Worth stopping at
Aug 2020 • Couples
Stopped at this viewpoint on the A87 north of Portree. Plenty of parking with a large lay-by and a larger car park a few yards further on. Two viewpoints allow views of the falls, the gorge and out to sea. No facilities at present but worth taking 20 minutes out of your day to visit.

Lovely spot

We stopped here on the way around the Isle of Skye! It was very busy! But the views were beautiful! Was nice just to stop for half an hour! The viewing platform was great!

nice waterfall close to road
Aug 2020 • Couples
Close to the road, not a lot of walking, good parking and even picnic benches etc, nice waterfall, wooden walk way to see the water fall, although you can’t get to it you can see it from a distance on the wooden walk way
