Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Fantastic experience, would highly recommend. I have done several wildlife trips in Scotland and never seen as much wildlife as tgis one. I have done this trip twice now. Plenty of eagles on both trips + this time there were Dolphins all around the boat!

Unfortunately we did not see any wildlife it was apparently too rough maybe the trip should have been changed to round the bay as that’s really what we did. The scenery was great but too rough to go further.

Friendly and very informative crew. We were out for 2 hours and saw a white tailed eagle and numerous bottle nosed dolphins and seals. A fabulous trip worth every penny.

Everything was very well organised and we were given plenty of information before we arrived on the day of the boat trip. The boat seated only 12, which was a great number for the size of the craft and allowed us to see the animals and birds well. The skipper knew his stuff from the point of view of seeing the wildlife and told us plenty about the particular birds and animals we saw. He could also handle the boat well. We saw White-Tailed Eagles, Dolphins, Seals, Terns, Gulls, Shags. We had a lovely afternoon, even the sunshine played ball. We would definitely go out with Stardust again.

What a fantastic evening on the wildlife and ceilidh trip. We saw dolphins and sea eagles and the crew were so helpful, providing binoculars to anyone who doesn't have their own, pointing out where the nest was and making sure everyone had seen the female and he chick and not rushing back to port so we had lots of time to enjoy the wildlife. The players, singer and dancer entertained us back at the slipway. A night to remember.

What a great day on the water. We saw a golden eagles, sea eagles, porpoises and a friendly pod of dolphins. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and where we would be able to spot the wildlife. He took time to tell us all about it. The boat had binoculars for the children to use. Loved it.

Great trip out from Portree. We saw Sea Eagles on their nest and one swooped down by the boat to pick up a dead fish. A pod of dolphins came past as we returned to the harbour, with seals and other seabirds in between.

Excellent trip. They made sure we saw as much as possible and Ian explained everything perfectly. Eagles diving for fish and dolphins cavorting around the boat were just two of the highlights. Four hours well spent.

We pulled out of the harbour and withing minutes we had a white tailed sea eagle swooping down to take a fish just yards from the boat. That eagle soon ran into another one and being territorial they had a tussle in the sky right above us. We followed the second bird over to Raasay and after seeing some seals on the rocks, we were again treated to the sight of it swooping in for fish. On the way home we saw a small group of dolphins and they followed the boat for a while. There were other sea birds but the eagles and the dolphins were obviously the highlight of a really great trip.

The boat was not luxurious, but easily big enough for all the passengers to have enough room and to gather on the same side to see the wildlife. The skipper was friendly and great at spotting the wildlife

OK so it was foggy 25m above sea level, so we didn't see any Eagles which was fair enough. The captain did go looking for other stuff and we saw 3 seals basking on a beach on Raasay, though I had to ask where they were. The Boat was powerful and comfortable enough but there would be little shelter if it rains and my hands went numb from holding on to the cold boat structures. (Take gloves). My main gripe was that the captain was the only crew member, and he gave little commentry about what we were seeing, so we had little entertainment or narration, especially when under way. Some relaxing music playing and amplified announcements e.g. "on your left is the headland of xyz" "On your right is a group of Cormarants, these are ABC birds which do etc" as on a bus tour would have made a big difference. I also question what would happen in an emergency with just one crew.
