I'd booked a tour with 'Isle of Skye Wildlife Tours' on my husband's 60th birthday. We were incredibly lucky with the weather as the sun shone for the whole day. When we met Andy in Portree he asked what we were hoping to see that...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our day looking for wildlife with Andy. He had a range of spots where he has observed the eagles and otters to try and a good sense of when to stay put and when to move on to maximise the experience for...More
Thank you for the feedback, it's lovely to know that you recommend starting a Skye holiday out with us as one of our aims is to show people some great locations to enjoy while they are here.
Three of us, and our dog, thoroughly enjoyed this Tour. We were accompanied by a pleasant group of people with an obvious interest in wildlife. Andy, our personable guide, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. In spite of heavy rain and some winds, he took us...More
Thank you for your review. Great to hear that you revisited some of our locations - especially as they're never quite the same from day to day and all deserve some time. And really pleased you got a first tick.
Other guides stayed home on a day when gale force wind and rain was forecast. Not Kenny McKay (pronounced McKye) from the Isle of Skye. Kenny drove on where tourists fear to tread, telling tales of growing up in this remote and dramatic landscape. He’ll...More
Glad you enjoyed your visit to Skye, however you've posted this under the wrong business as I only run wildlife tours . . . I think you want Go-Skye !
Despite today’s changeable weather we had a great day out with Andy checking out the wildlife of Skye. Fabulous to watch golden eagles, white tailed sea eagles, 3 otters, deer, Atlantic and common grey seals to name but a few in their natural, if a...More
Thanks Christine. As we say in the advertising "we're not a photo tour but opportunities can arise". Our aim is to show the wildlife and learn a little about it, and if anyone wants to return to locations in their own time and sit patiently...More
Our guide, Andy, made the day full of facts and advice about the wildlife of Skye. He knew all the places to go to see otters and eagles, golden and sea and took us there. He couldn’t have been more friendly and enthusiastic in letting...More
Thank you for your review and kind words, glad you enjoyed it.
We arrived ashore from cruise ship at 12 noon; walked up the hill and met Kenny Mackay of Go-Skye Tours. We were surprised that we were to be on a small group tour. We were so happy as the guide/driver could take us to places...More
Glad you enjoyed your visit to Skye, however you've posted this on the wrong business page and didn't come out with me :)
We had an excellent day wildlife watching with Andy. He knows the island extremely well including the best places to see the various wildlife. We saw golden eagles, sea eagles, otters, (mum and two cubs), porpoise, seals and a whole host of different birds. The...More
Thank you all. Always great to hear a few life ticks have been achieved, a reminder that some of our wildlife is rare and elusive. I'll give feedback to the Bakery that provide lunch - thanks.
It was indeed - despite rain - we got to see sea eagles, golden eagles, otters & lots of waders. Deer with young in passing. Company was good & packed lunch was great - excellent cuppa tea 😊
Thank you :) Always nicer being out in dry weather but often the best sightings are when it's a bit dreich!
Andy’s focus for the day was on finding the wild life for which we had expressed an interest. To our great delight we saw 12 Sea Eagles, deer, red throated divers and so much more. His knowledge of the area took us to remote beautiful...More
