Great to be able to try some different Whiskies AND they have just started distilling their own Gin. Batch No 6 had my name on it (not all of it) and they posted the bottle to my home address and it was awaiting my arrival...More

We missed the closing time so were not able to take the tour, however one of the bar men at the Hotel next door worked at the Distillery as well. He explained the history of the Distillery and conducted a tasting for us. He was...More

They make good whisky – I bought a bottle and drank most of it over the course of the next two weeks driving around Scotland. It is smooth, mild, light - but not too light. The staff is friendly this is an easy place to...More

The whisky tasting was quite fun. The young woman looking after the shop had a relaxed and friendly manner and talked us through the different types of Gaelic Whiskies available for purchase. My favourite was the rum whisky and my boyfriend’s was the Té Bheag...More

We visited here after seeing a leaflet in our B&B in Inverness, and as we were planning a visit to Skye, this was our first port of call. Walking through an office into a small back room does not seem the obvious place to taste...More

Second visit. Warm welcome and well informed staff helped us buy more of their good whisky. Wish we had enough time to spend sampling and learning.

I visited the wee boutique of Praban na Linne, the Gaelic Whiskies, and was invited to sample three of their fine whiskies. The lady in charge of the outlet knows her stuff on whisky and before long I found was leaving with a fine bottle...More

Currently the is only one distillery on Skye, and this isn't it! That said, the quality of the whiskey is better (or so it is rumoured). No dead sheep or TCP undertones found here, only finely blended, wonderful flavours. A knowledgeable, friendly and generous lady...More

I love Talisker and when we booked for two weeks on Skye I went, Yes! Nirvana! And jumped on the website. Lots of different group options to tour and taste. And then I thought, I live in Ontario. I also love Ontario wines. But over...More

It isn't a distillery tour but a whisky sampling, with option to buy (at good price). Sorry, I don't know who Macleods is. Just turn up, no booking.
