We missed the closing time so were not able to take the tour, however one of the bar men at the Hotel next door worked at the Distillery as well.
He explained the history of the Distillery and conducted a tasting for us.

Currently the is only one distillery on Skye, and this isn't it! That said, the quality of the whiskey is better (or so it is rumoured). No dead sheep or TCP undertones found here, only finely blended, wonderful flavours.
