Only shop open, but worth a trip if you want to buy whiskey or gin!
Sep 2020
We stopped in here on our travels around Raasay, we knew the tours weren't running but wanted to pop in anyway. Only the shop is currently open due to Covid and there's a small selection on offer, but there's some very nice bundles of Whiskey + free glasses, and a set of Raasay Gin plus 2 beautiful gin glasses for around £40 which we purhcased. The lady who served us was very lovely, and we're glad we stopped in! Would love to do the tour in the future if we return to Raasay :)

Dear Robino, Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we hope you enjoy your Raasay Gin. Unfortunately this year due to Covid 19 we have been unable to offer tours but hopefully when you revisit you'll be able to enjoy the full Distillery experience. Kind regards, Lexy Macleod

Superb tour with a great guide.

I have been on a distillery tour in the past but Christine was outstanding. Obviously enthusiastic and. was very knowledgable but the conveyed it with humour and made it really interesting. We did the whisky and chocolate tour and would recommend this to everyone.

Sunset Tasting
Dec 2019 • Friends
I came with friends for a wee tasting after a hike up Dun Caan. It was a brilliant way to end the day with a beautiful sunset over Skye's Cuillin mountains. I couldn't taste as I was driving but my friends enjoyed their drams and we all enjoyed listening to Chrissie's explanations of the whisky process and the distillery's history

Gorgeous location with the Cuillin hills as a backdrop. Very knowledgeable guide took us around. Can't wait for the first 'proper ' bottling.

Fantastic Visit
Nov 2019
We had such a wonderful visit to this small but perfectly formed, new distillery. Sailing over to Raasay from Skye on the ferry set the scene for a beautiful stroll to the distillery itself. Iain Ross was such a knowledgeable guide and a truly friendly and fascinating individual. He left no part of the process unexplained and made us feel welcome and valued.
Thoroughly recommend this experience and hope that a pin badge will be available on our next visit* (* 'in joke' !)

Nice New Distillery
Nov 2019 • Couples
A new whiskey is on the horizon. Their first whiskey will be publicly available in 2021, and if their While We Wait bottle is anything to go by, will be worth the wait. Did I buy a bottle? No, for £53 I want the real deal, but still worth a visit. They also make a nice gin.

Favorite distillery tour, gorgeous location!
Oct 2019 • Friends
A new whisky and gin distillery on the Scottish scene, but they sure are doing something right! Our tour leader was wonderfully engaging and kind, including plenty of history about the island, its people, and its unique geology. They have done a beautiful job with the building, and put a lot of thought into every detail. Personable, scenic, and delicious... they should be very proud. Can’t wait for their first single malt release next year!

ISLE OF RAASY DISTILLERY
Oct 2019 • Couples
We had a great time in the Isle of Rasaay, the distillery is a gem.
Callum offered us an unforgettable distillery tour that ended with a delicious whiskey and chocolate tasting.
We loved their philosophy and the quality is top notch.
You'd better keep an eye on their whiskey, great things are to come.
