Spend a lovely couple of hours walking form the north car park, to the visitor centre and then on to the viaduct. Well worth a visit, lovely place to have a picnic in the sunshine.

Enter this stretch from east or mid calder or pumpherston and you get a great stretch of river to enjoy with a ranger station and childrens playarea or bbq site. You can link to go on for miles and miles with away from it all...More

What a lovely place to go for a walk. The Park is clean, well maintained and all the walkers we passed were very friendly. There is a lovely visitors center with friendly staff.

My SatNav led me on a wild goose chase to find this place but once there i had a pleasurable walk and, of course, crossed the Aquaduct, which is quite spooky in places and not for young children.
