Large beach, very peaceful - not a sole in sight. A walk down a steep hill (if you have trouble walking). Stayed in the cottage in the photo - booked Airbnb.

I went down to the beach on a blustery day. It was a lovely spot, with no-one else in sight. There are sandy steps down to it, which were fine on the way down but a little steep on the way back up. Handy that...More

We visited Oldshoremore on the last day of our holiday in Scotland. It is less visited than the nearby Sandwood Bay but just as beautiful! The car park is close to the beach and has toilets and is free to use. This beach might be...More

If you are in the area you mustnโ€™t miss this beach, it is simply stunning. Good parking and toilets by the churchyard. Great for walking and photography.

Take a detour off the A838 and drive the B801 to Kinlochbervie, then drive a little further on the white road, and you will get to the stunning sandy beach at Oldshoremore. Perfect white sand; turquoise blue water; and hardly any other people. This is...More

Easy to reach walk down from the car park. The beach is pristine and lovely. When the tide is out lots of colourful jelly fish are washed up on the beach, bright blue and brown.

Hello - I think the difficulty is knowing what to do with the car. You could try the Sandwood Bay car park at Balchrick, and then wildcamp like I did, or go further on to Shegra campsite at the end of the road.
