We went here while staying nearby as there are several walks which can be done. There had been a lot of snow in previous days and it made the whole area quite magical. Really enjoyed the walks. Would recommend.

A short walk in stunning surroundings (6 miles from Braemar on the Mar Lodge estate), getting you as close to the rushing water as you want. Well signposted, decent tracks, car park nearby - should ideally double-up with the Ben Lui trail as well, for...More

Beautiful place for walks. Trails are quite an easy walk but need to keep an eye on children and dogs near water as it's quite rough in most places.

This is abit off the beaten track, but well worth the drive. The best time to visit this place is AFTER afew days of rain. It is then owesome. In the spring you have a good chance of seening salmon moving up the River Dee.
