Booked a Friday 5pm rock climbing beginners session & unfortunately had to cancel due to a road closure en route. The team were brilliant re scheduling us in for Sunday 10am. Andrew was our rock climbing instructor & was fantastic - knowledgeable, relaxed & encouraging. In fact, every member of the team we met was very friendly. We will be back next time we are up that way - highly recommend.

Me and my husband came for the second time Saturday. The first for a taster session (we're rock climbers but not ice climbers), and the second time learning to place ice screws and develop more confidence and technique. We had Huw both times and he was absolutely fantastic! Really catered to our ability (which was minimal ok ice!) and let us have a cheaper rock climb after the 2 hour ice session. He said he was leaving this weekend, so we wanted to say a massive thank you for both sessions and good luck in the summer on your adventures! No doubt we'll see you at Neist on Skye. Thanks again!

The intro into ice climbing is a great experience, made even better by the personable and professional staff (Andrew & Harrison) at the centre. 10/10 recommend to a friend!

Excellent place. Second visit, last 3 years ago. Went with my 2 younger lads aged 13 and 9. The teen went on the ice wall, the younger on the climbing wall. Need to be over 12 to go on the ice wall. They were very accommodating at fitting us in at short notice. Great for kids, they felt brilliant after and loved it. In April 2022 the instruction sessions were £27 per hour for both climbing wall and ice wall. Really good value especially as the ice climbing wall is rare. Our lad’s group had 3 people. One other group in there too, about same size. Mix of age groups including people who may not be the fittest they’ve ever been, so appeals to broad range of age groups. Our instructors were Amy and Andrew. They were excellent at making the experience quite a relaxed and fun one for the boys. They clearly enjoy it and this enthusiasm passes through to the boys. No qualms returning again. Great place, highly recommended.

Ice climbing taster with Amy was a brilliant introduction to a great activity. My wife and I cannot wait to try it again.
Plus my children loved their rock climbing session with Harrison.

My partner and I recently completed the ice climbing taster and would highly recommend it.
The instructors were very down to earth and didn’t make us feel at all silly when we made a mistake or had to come back down due to shaky Elvis legs or jelly arms - you really can go as high on the ice as you feel comfortable with without judgement.
The centre was also very accommodating and let me come in a few days earlier to try the climbing boots on as I have very small feet and they only provide sizes 4 and above - luckily we got some to fit! Lovely cafe, shop, ample parking and bathroom facilities too - will definitely return!

Fabulous facility and great staff. Instructors Harrison and Andrew looked after us so well we can back to have another go. On our second trip, Amy was simply outstanding, giving the children great instruction and a really fun session. Highly recommended experience.

Yes, there was customer with his dog in the common area when I was there, and you can watch the ice and wall climbing from this area - suggest you double check though as rules can change

Can you just turn up and pay on the day to use facilities or do you need to book in? (Experienced climber)

If you just want to climb, you can turn up and pay. I’d say if you wanted to participate in one of the instructed sessions, it would be safer to book.

Can I please ask why anybody would go to an ice climbing venue and judge it on its "Breakfast"?

Sorry not quite sure what the question is, I didn't mention breakfast in my review , I spoke mainly about the facilities themselves, having the cafe there is a bonus, it is an amazing place well worth the visit

I think the patts0 review is unfair. It's a climbing wall! Why would a coachload of OAPs want to go to a climbing wall. It's not something you go and watch!

Hi, On the day in question the centre was quite and we were using the opportunity to do some staff training.
A tour bus company came in for a coffee stop. As we had no customers climbing at that time, I asked the staff to stop what they were doing and give an Ice Climbing demo.
Unfortunately, not everyone had the same level of interest.
We do try to provide a high level of customer satisafaction, and every one is entitle to their own opinion, hopefully he enjoyed refreshments in the cafe
