My 12 year old and 10 year old daughters spent a full day with Trisha and Jana getting expert tuition in western riding. They spent time in the arena and down on the stunning beach below the stables as well as trotting and cantering under the shade of the trees. They have not stopped talking about it! This was their first western riding experience and I can’t believe how much they’ve learned. This place is gorgeous with breathtaking views and beautiful horses. Trisha and Jana were very kind and patient and we will definitely be back. Special mention to Lou as well, who visited to inspire the girls with her vast experience. 100% would recommend.

If you’re looking to try Lunga riding stables and are here on trip advisor looking for the answer, here it is. Yes GO! I cannot stress enough just how fantastic it is. Tricia is the absolute best teacher that will become a life long friend. She goes above and beyond what you expect from any riding school. I e been so far twice and I travel four hours each way to get there. Why? Not just because it had everything I need but because Tricia makes it so. I go there to western ride and to learn as much as I can from her. Het horses are stunning and very well kept and trained to the highest standard. She’s extremely easy to get along with and laugh along with. On my last visit a fair few miles from her stables on my way home I hit a pot hole and burst a tire on my car. RAC told me 6-8 hours wait as I had no spare wheel. Tricia and her team went above and beyond to try get a spare wheel for me, came out after dark herself with tools and torches and when we had no luck with the fix, she drove to to Oban the nearest town so I could get food and wait for family to collect me. Family arrival was going to take three hours. She waited with me, we had coffee and food whilst I waited for my rescue. This is the short story of the lengths Tricia and her team went to. Help me after if spent the day riding with her. We were out riding in the gorgeous hills and woodland around the estate and then after lunch it was training in the arena. I could write a huge amount about how you will have the best experience, the best horses and best scenery all packed together with the best company, best knowledge and experience, whether you’re their to ride English or Western style with her. Trust me it is also extremely great on price too. After two visits it feels like I’ve been going there for years, she really is that easy to relax around. Even if you ride local to where you live and you think Lunga is a distance away, still go, do both. You will thank yourself I promise you that.

I booked this riding experience for myself and my mum as a birthday present for her. The whole experience was absolutely amazing with incredible scenery. Patricia and everyone who worked there were absolutely amazing and really made the whole experience so enjoyable. The horses were absolutely beautiful and incredibly well trained so I would highly recommend this to anyone! Amazing place, amazing experience and amazing people.
