We walked from Kames on the road which took a good 2 hours. From the bothy cafe on the road it took us 20 minutes to get to the beach. The beach was beautiful with stunning views. The path is well trodden and was very muddy so you will need boots/wellies and be sure of your footing when walking. We walked back to Kames via Mullhouse so all in all did a 12 mile walk with spectacular views. …

A hidden gem. Spectacular beach overlooking Isle of Arran. A 15 minute walk to get to the beach, boggy in places. No facilities at the beach but at the beginning of the walk, You can get a lovely cup of tea and home made cakes at The Bothy .

Had a beautiful afternoon here today, limited parking on the side of the road which can be tricky if you have a big car - no toilets - long walk if you are not fit and able - but if you are it’s well worth a visit. Clean, tidy, white, natural sandy beach.
