This is worth seeing if you have some extra time. Pay to park. You only need 2 to 3 hours to stroll around. Bring change for the toilets. 40p I think.

We first stopped briefly at Luss midweek on our drive to Inverness. Came back on the weekends. The difference was termed floors inn terms of people. Seemed slept during the week but was alive and vibrant on Saturday with people everywhere. Easy place to walk....More

Luss is a lovely little place on Loch Lomond the lovely houses lead to the pier where the views are stunning, there are boat trips on the loch at reasonable prises, there is a couple of cafes and gift shops well worth visiting

We stopped in Luss on our way to Inverrary Castle. We could easily have spent a few days in this quaint and picturesque village instead of just a few hours. Walking trails are easily marked and provide a nice introduction to a traditional Scottish town...More

Lovely little village on the edge of Loch Lomond. You must stop off here on a tour round this part of town.

Loch Lomond is stunning and scenic from all angles but Luss is a particularly beautiful area and viewpoint of the loch. Stunning.

Luss is idyllic. The day we went it was so still and the light was amazing. We managed to just miss the rain which was incredibly lucky!

Yes there is a parking area just past the road to the pier( coming from Glasgow direction )that you can walk through to the few shops and pier and also you can park in the road leading down to the pier but those spaces fill... More
