We arrived early in the day, too early for the shops to be open. Thus, we were left to stroll about the town and see the sights of the sleeping village. We made our way through the town and to the pier, where we had a fine view of the loch and of the hills beyond.

It was a pretty moody grey day when we came to Luss, and we didn't stay long (as we were doing a tour of Scotland in just three days) so we went on a wee wander along the waterfront to see Loch Lomond, as you do! Anyway, even in poor weather this was a lovely, easy and quick walk and... More

Enjoyed our visit here, even though the weather was poor. Plentiful parking, and very short walk to the Loch. Nice to wander around Luss. River path was nice for a short prance.

We walked along the waterfront at Luss and on the pier which is set on the beautiful backdrop that is Loch Lomond. A wonderful location

Luss is amazing it has a small pier which I think is a little dangerous for kids as there is nothing around the edge to stop them falling in. The pier is not to long but the views from the end are stunning, you can see the mountains & all up the loch, there are boat rides which are very... More

We were visiting Luss and ended our tour of the village with calling down to this area for the lovely views. It was just before Easter and there were few tourists. Well worth stopping off for.

They say it is a touristic place and you should avoid it, but it was not so crowded during our stay. I definitely recommend it.

The water taxi calls here and it's a lovely village and a lovely spot, my only gripe would be the cost of a regular take away latte coffee (fairly small if I'm honest) being £2.50, don't understand these prices which are becoming the norm ?

We stopped here on our tour around the area. We were lucky it was a bright day with sunshine. Lovely views across the Loch and the village is very pretty. NB you need to pay for parking.

Usually busy with folks out to take in the fantastic views from the pier. Great location for photographs of Ben Lomond and also the Islands to the South.
