Myself, my husband and our 3 kids (14, 13 and 10) all took part in the half hour ‘Fast Blast’ trio with Skipper Tim. What an amazing adrenaline rush! Our kids absolutely loved it and are still talking about it. Suited up with our life vests and a safety briefing later and we were off out. The initial trip out was lovely and calm, along the coast with some wonderful scenery. Then out to the choppier open sea, Tim soon ramped up the speed. We were jumping over the waves higher than we could have imagined. Would recommend keeping an eye on the waves and making sure you are stood up as the boat comes back down onto the water. It’s a hard landing but if stood up off the seat, far more enjoyable. Would highly recommend and if/when we visit again, we will definitely be booking again.

We had an absolutely amazing time on the boat today for the kids fast blast. Tim and his wife were the best. The boat itself can shift across the water and I'll have to get back for the full on fast blast and see what the boat can do when the skipper gives it full gas.
I would highly recommend boarding this vessel to anyone who seeks a white knuckle ride on the sea.

What an outstanding afternoon! We booked the coastal exploration for four adults, two teenagers and a four year old. We were shown so much wildlife, including porpoises, seals and a variety of seabirds. We were also shown the setting of New Asgard, which totally geeked out our teens! Lots of hidden gems and advice on where we could head to get a bit surfing in! The scenery of the caves could never be experienced from land, so we were very lucky to join the coastal ride! Tim the skipper drove a bit faster between the coves, much to the delight of our four year old, who was giggling with excitement. A great afternoon had by all. Thanks for the experience! We will definitely be back again in the future.

Although I live in eyemouth I had never thought to try the rib boat although I had heard very good reports about it. We had family staying here on holiday so we hired the whole boat for the coastal explore although the skipper was very open to changing the trip if we wanted and also stopping for longer for photos if we wanted to see anything in particular. All of this is explained before the trip. The skipper was very informative and knowledgeable about the coastline and what it has to offer. The coastline is stunning and it was lovely to see it from a different perspective. He done a couple of fast blasts which we all enjoyed and was very exhilarating! Can't believe it took me this long to go on it. Thoroughly recommended and not pricey at all for what you get!

Had a great time with Tim, who was kind enough to give us a running commentary of all the local history. Tim is a highly experienced skipper and has a history of racing speed boats, so wrap up warm and hold on. Tim recommend the cafe in the harbour called 'Ebbcarrs' and especially the Cullen Skink (or Scottish haddock chowder) which came with a hot buttered baguette, and was easily the best chowder I've tasted by a mile. Cheers Tim!

This is a brilliant trip and I expect it to become one of Scotland's "must see" visitor attractions. It's competitively priced and is around one of Scotland's most scenic pieces of coastline. The nature on display is outstanding and includes dolphins, puffins, seabirds, seals and their pups (1,500 this year), The skipper is a friendly man and his dialogue and knowledge are both very good. Eyemouth is easily reached from all parts of Scotland and if you're visiting Scotland and you like your wildlife get on this trip. Once you're back on "tera firma" get to one of the local fish and chip shops to sample the freshest fair you will ever taste.

Thoroughly recommend Eyemouth Rib Trips. Went out on Tim’s Coastal Explorer yesterday and had a great trip. Saw some beautiful scenery from the water and Tim gave some excellent local knowledge to the views.

Opened up the engines on way back which we all really enjoyed (as had wanted to do the fast boat trip but fully booked).

Don’t hesitate to book up!

What an amazing trip! The coastline is outstandingly beautiful and Tim (the skipper) was fantastic. He is knowledgeable and all the information was very interesting. I have never seen a coastline like this before and I would advise anyone who is in the area to give this a try! In fact, I'd be willing to travel a considerable distance just to do it again. My children (aged 6 and 7) are still talking about it, the mysterious caves and coves as well as the seals popping their heads up to say hi and the excitement of when Tim sped up. For such a reasonable price, I would have happily paid more. Tim is currently running reduced numbers to protect from Covid so having distance between your family and another. The weather was not great and we got very wet (in October, brrrrr) but it didn't take anything away from this magical experience. Thank you Tim for a fantastic adventure! We will see you again.

We had a fantastic trip out along the East coast form Eyemouth to up past St Abbs Head. It could have been a non event as we had originally booked on the Tuesday but the forecast was terrible for that day. The company got in touch on the Monday morning to warn us of the forecast and to arrange a trip out at 17.30 that night if we could make it down to Eyemouth in time. By changing our plans we managed to make it in time.

The rib can seat 12 people and it has quite a comfortable seating system. Skipper Tim and Laura reassuringly ensure lifejackets are fitted and safety talk given before leaving harbour. The trip along the coast past Killiedraught Bay, Coldingham Sands bay, into St Abbs and the Seabirds stacks past St Abbs head and Lighthouse. You get a great chance to see the tricky entries to the safe harbours among the rocky treacherous coast line. We heartily recommend this trip and tour with Eyemouth Rib Trips with Tim and Laura. Thank you for the memorable excursion and your help in making it happen.
