Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A fabulous trip, well worth the money and Tim was a fantastic skipper. We walked from Eyemouth to Coldingham yesterday on the coastal path and it was great seeing the same path from the sea. One hour trip mainly spent sightseeing with a good 10 minute speed boat experience back to Eyemouth.

Brilliant trip with extremely knowledgeable skipper Tim. Breathtaking scenery along the coast north of Eyemouth. The experience of the fast boat ride was worth the money. Tip, dress for sea winds which are cooler than onshore.

Fantastic trip today. Really exciting boat ride, some stops with knowledgable information from the tour guide and loads of bumpy waves too! Some of us saw a whale from a distance, it came out the water a few times and crashed back in. The skipper reckoned it was a hump backed whale and he went further out to sea to try to get closer views but unfortunately we never saw it again.
I would recommend anyone visiting the area should try to make this trip, well worth it

Had a great time with Tim, who was kind enough to give us a running commentary of all the local history. Tim is a highly experienced skipper and has a history of racing speed boats, so wrap up warm and hold on. Tim recommend the cafe in the harbour called 'Ebbcarrs' and especially the Cullen Skink (or Scottish haddock chowder) which came with a hot buttered baguette, and was easily the best chowder I've tasted by a mile. Cheers Tim!

We did the explore tour - supposed to be the slowest but the boat still absolutely flew at times. We had a great time and our kids (aged 8 and 5) were absolutely buzzing - highly recommend this!

I'm disabled do you accommodate ?

Hi Mandy
That depends on your disability. There is a ramp from the road to the boat. You would need to be able to step up and then down onto the boat, we can assist. Then sit on a jockey seat. The same to disembark. The rib has inflatable tubes so cannot be modified to allow easier access to embark/disembark.
Hope this answers your question.
Hi do you a low disability passengers if so would give me your web site please.

The only issue would be the mobility issue getting over the side of the boat. Once on the boat you straddle a seat with the grip in front supporting your chest. I booked with the Eyemouth rib website. Hope this helps. There is a ramp from the harbour down to the boat.

What's the price range. I think my husband and kids would love the coastal exploration. We'll be out there on holiday in early July.

Hi if you go onto the website for Eyemouth rib trips, as prices for fast blast and coastal exploration, for adults and kids. They do a shuttle from Eyemouth to St Abbs as well, that one is just £5 and worth the little run. You are much better to book the trips as very popular and worth every penny. It’s amazing fun , adults and kids all loved it.

Sorry, you need to ask locally, it depends on the tide to a large extent, (also on the owner).

How long do these trips normally last?🙂

The fast blast is 30mins. A coastal exploration lasts around an hour with a chance of a fast blast on the way back depending on weather conditions. Great fun
