It looks really good inside and there was shells and knitted marine creatures like a whale. Go inside when it is open.

Called into the Hippodrome during the Eyemouth Herring Queen Festival recently and found the staff very welcoming and informative. I really enjoyed the RockPool display that they had at the time.

We visited on 14th February and got tickets fairly last minute. Small venue with small but well run bar/refreshments and some wonderful cakes. We thoroughly enjoyed the high quality entertainment at very reasonable ticket prices. Some seating was very comfortable but some would have been a bit hard to sit on for the whole evening. A very enjoyable experience with very friendly and welcoming staff.…

We noticed a poster for a band while walking past so, lacking anything else to do, we went in. The band was The Alyn Cosker Group which, according to the poster, might have been rock music, maybe even a bit prog-oriented and even the person on duty at the door said it should be good music. That said, the musicians were very proficient and seemed to be enjoying themselves but I'm afraid we were not really enjoying it so left during the break. There was a bar and we had to buy tickets there but their range of available drinks was very limited. No rum of any colour or kind which, for a harbourside venue, seemed very poor. The space was reasonably good acoustically so I wouldn't rule it out if an act more appealing to our tastes appeared on the schedule.…

We called in to have a quick look see on a quite frankly miserable day. The children enjoyed looking at the small aquarium tanks and cutting and colouring in. The cafe was open while we were there but we didn't partake of the cake and coffee. A nice resource.
