Only thing on Beal relating to the King! other than the Peabody where he signed his first contract for Sun records. Great statue of dubious quality. Almost walked past it. some locals apeared to be using it as a urine station, No respect.

Very nice tasteful artwork...just wish I could bring it home LOL I enjoy seeing Elvis in any art form because he was such a special artist and some pieces of art truly capture that aura of the King of Rock and King of my heart

As you walk along Beale St, toward BB King BBQ, the statue is off to the right. You may snap a great photo as the sun goes down as it sets to the side/behind the King at the onset of twilight.

I'm not even sure why this is here. it's a statue of elvis. I suppose that if you're an elvis superfan it might be something to get excited about.

Good location, right at the end of Beale street. Statue is on a nice little area of land, cool to see.

I know it’s just a statue, but it’s still a fun random thing to do lol. It’s also in a busy area where there’s a bunch of stuff.

It's a statue. It's of Elvis. Chances are, you run across 20 Elvis statues.....not to go out of your way to see.

The are many of examples of “contemporary” statues in cities around the country. The key to the effect the statue has in a city is its location, in the traffic flow. Most of these statues immortalize sports figures, often before the death of the star....More
