This is a walk of around 5 miles with some challenging terrain and a few short sharp climbs. The highlights are the 4 waterfalls particularly the last one which you can walk behind. It’s worthwhile for that experience alone. This is a reasonably challenging walk...More

The road to the car park is quite narrow and you may find yourself reversing at times. Park at the top car park (£4 a day) and take the trail, the basic one is approx 6 miles and is quite intensive. The walk is quite...More

This walk is a great half day out for most walkers. We were recommended it by tourist information in Brecon - we weren't up for anything too challenging, but wanted a decent walk. This starts from the car park at Cwm Porth, which has toilets...More

Brilliant display of force here, during our talk down the river. The sheer force was ever-present in both view and noise too. We saw some spectacular displays of water spouting from the top of the waterfall and into the river below. The ability to walk...More

A fantastic walk even in the rain. The waterfalls do not disappoint and they leave the best till last! Being able to walk behind this waterfall was amazing, felt like we were in Bali. Walking boots recommended, lots of steps and some clambering over stones/rocks...More

This walk is absolutely beautiful and not that difficult! That said, I'd still recommend a decent pair of walking boots. It's not one for flip flops! Don't let the advertised walk time of 4.5 hours put you off... It's very unlikely it will take that...More

What a beautiful place to visit. The walk is lovely and the waterfalls brilliant. Paths are in good condition. Not good for prams or elderly who struggle with uneven ground or steps. If your up for quite a tough walk give it a go, it's...More

Irrespective of the weather conditions I wouldn’t want to do this walk in trainers. A proper approach trainer or walking boot with good tread is safest. At the points closest to the waterfalls the ground will be slippery... More

Dog friendly, path is well away from the edge , water fats flowing near the main waterfalls so we kept ours on lead for that bit.
