Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A really great place for antiques and gifts. The variety of antiques was very good with an excellent selection of quality real antiques from jewellery to furniture. The gift shop had a wonderful selection of gifts including tasty treats and local jams and Chutney. The small restaurant served delicious food, we had a Welsh breakfast that was very filling. A really enjoyable place to visit.

Afternoon tea for 8 ladies to celebrate a birthday. Beautifully presented afternoon tea but the penny pinching by not allowing us to have a glass of water unless 25p was donated to air ambulance….it’s a legal requirement to offer free water to anyone purchasing food in a British eaterie. The reticence to allow us more than two pots of tea on the table for 6 women… we had to pay for the extra pot we asked for was a joke. The cheapest component of the afternoon tea was the pot of bog standard breakfast tea. Such a shame such penny pinching antics will make us avoid this restaurant again. Ridiculous !

My wife and I had a nice meal today but we do feel dessert portions were on the small side and the bill a bit high. My bill was £45 (our 2 mains were salads). It doesn't represent value for money.

Visited here today with my son (who is autistic)and my mother (who has dementia),there were no tables inside so we chose a table outside ,the staff were fantastic ,very caring and asked many times if we were ok for everything, the food was absolutely delicious ,definitely my sons new favourite place ,I have been here a few times over the years but never where I’ve had to take two of my family members which both need my care at once ,the staff were fantastic 5*****

Antiques interspersed with newer stuff, not very inspiring and pretty chintzy. However, a brilliant restaurant… really well cooked traditional food, ‘unreconstructed’ style but all delicious. Waiting staff are very professional and charming too. Highly recommend

Well worth a visit, lots of antiques and a gift shop too. There were 7 of us and we all enjoyed a delicious lunch on site at Edenshine Delights

Went there last week driving home from Mold and decided it would be nice to call for something to eat.We were greeted at the restaurant door (you have to wait to be seated)be a young lady who really didn’t want to be parted from her conversation in the kitchen. She begrudgingly found us a table,it was 12:00 clock so couldn’t understand why it was so difficult as it was nearly empty. We waited 10 minutes, saw no-one until another family came in and was greeted by the waiter and given a nice welcome and shown a seat and Menu’s.Since we hadn’t even got a menu yet.I got up and walked to the counter and asked was there a problem, and told he would come and take our order, which was difficult as we hadn’t even got a menu.So will never go there again it is small and really nice but with staff like that, you will never see us again.
