Caravan

We have a caravan sited there and we love it. Great Base to explore from with barmouth a 15 minute drive. Very quiet and tranquil just what we like.

Most beautiful sceneries with the most picturesque fast flowing river as seen in the photo taken below! I strongly recommend straying away from the pathways if you're of the adventurous nature and want a challenge crossing the river! Defiantly worth a visit if you're in snowdonia ☺️

Easy to find, lay by handy for parking. Amazing colours, foliage, moss, white water, mushrooms! Some parts of path quite slippy but not a difficult walk. Did it in an hour with stops to take photos. Very photogenic .

Me and 14 others stayed here in the bunkhouse. It brought back so many good memories, from when I used to go away with school on trips. The bunkhouse itself is spot on, also the shower/toilet block was spot on too. Only negative. There are no electric sockets in the rooms. So if you want to charge or use any... More

This is a beautiful walk down one side of a small wooded gorge, and back up the other side, by a picturesque tumbling river. As it is so shaded by trees, this walk is ideal for damp, drizzly or overcast days, especially after rain, when the river is full, and the falls look lovely. This is quite strenuous however, if you... We arrived with our grandson to be told it was fully booked despite booking on the website pitchup.com but the lady was really helpful and managed to find us a spot in what was clearly the childrens pony paddock(obviously trying to utilise every available centimetre of ground whether suitable or not), so we pitched our tent taking care to avoid... We can handle the rain, we can handle the wind, we do not expect to listen to music at silly o'clock.

A quite short but steep walk along the river, with some beautiful scenery. The river was flowing very swiftly when we were there and was quite dramatic. Well worth a trip

We did this walk just after it had been raining which meant the river was a real torrent. Very spectacular. A lovely small circular walk.
