Spend a penny or two!

Tiny little old style shop full of all the sweets from yesteryear. We managed to purchase some sugar free licorice and toffees. Worth popping in to bring you back to your youth.

Lots of choice. Friendly staff. Good value. Watch out for the super-sours though - not for the faint-hearted!

We visited recently while on holiday in the area with our children. The shop is very small but charming. Prices were reasonable and We enjoyed the sweets very much!

I could spend a lot of time in here and the woman who runs it certainly does not rush your selection. Whether it is sweets to be weighed from the jars or the grab and go Dib Dabs and licorice sticks, you'll find something to please you here!

Lovely traditional sweet shop with over 200 different sweets to choose from, they also cater for special dietary requirements with a great selection for diabetics. Which is useful, as I probably will be diabetic after working my way through their entire range. Very friendly owners, too.

Great choice of sweets, some bringing back lots of happy memories. Sells a range of handcrafted cards and framed pictures. Friendly lady serving us chatting about crafts and sweets.

After reading the reviews I was expecting a traditional sweet shop, instead it was a small shop with no character and a couple of plastic pots of overpriced sweets. Unfortunately I'm spoilt as I live in the Lake District so ive visited lots of traditional sweet shops. This one however was nothing special at all. I feel it has the... More

This a traditional sweetshop with sweets in large jars which are sold by weight. There are other sweets and chocolates that are pre-packed too and the sort of sweets I remember from childhood like sherbert dips!
