Despite the bitter cold weather for the time of year, this was a brilliant experience. Well worth a visit and would do it again to see the puffins as they had unfortunately already left.

Fantastic boat trip... exciting, fun and informative.
Skipper had a great knowledge of the wildlife and the area, his enthusiasm for the local wildlife scene shone through.
The boat ride was exhilarating!! Didn't quite know what to expect, but it was really amazing.
Thank you to all of the team, next time we are in town we'll book the bridges trip.

I would thoroughly reccomend. I'm originally from Anglesey and after visiting the island after several years away I was pleasantly surprised at how much I learnt on the trip which I didn't know previously. Captain was very informative and very enjoyable boat ride with the speeds and turns. Even without the puffins (wrong time of year) we saw plenty of seals and birdlife.

A fantastic hour along the Menai Straights from Beaumaris to Plas Newydd. Exhilarating, informative, fun and spectacular! A heady mixture of power, speed and scenery. Thoroughly recommended.

A fantastic thrill ride up the Menai Straights and around Puffin island. Not just any boat ride. There’s twists and turns and doughnuts in the sea. Super fast, but we always felt safe, expertly driven by skipper Dave.
We had a few stops along the way with an excellent commentary with interesting facts, figures and info about the area. We enjoyed stopping to see the seals on Puffin island too.

Fantastic Puffin Island trip with Jason the skipper. As well as an informative and interesting trip, we wanted an exciting ride too.... and got it! Straight away Jason was demonstrating the power of the boat, and we loved it! Everyone smiling and yelling as we did tight donuts!
Loads of really interesting information given also.... Jason was very knowledgeable.
Best of all they looked after our dog free of charge ! No other company helps in this way, and we wouldn't have been able to go the trip without this extra service!
We'd been on another trip a couple of years ago with a competitor company at Menai Bridge.... there was no comparison! If you want to feel the power of the rib, and have a bit of excitement too, then look no further! We'll definitely be back next time. Thanks for creating the highlight of our holiday!

Excellent experience starting with our welcome from Conor in the kiosk and throughout the trip. After taken seriously but didn’t frighten you just reassured. The trip itself was brilliant fun, informative and exhilarating. Definitely will recommend to anyone looking for a less sedate trip but stopped wanting to find out about the beautiful area.

RIB boat tour to Puffin island: totally worth the cost and more. Took two teens and throughly enjoyed the speed& fun of the trip as well as all the tour guides history information of the coast line, highly recommend

Hi, please can someone give me some reassurance on the safety of this boat trip? Is there weight restrictions - both minimum and maximum. Also Is there a minimum age limit? Lastly how long do the trips last?

I totally agree with the comments already made re the question of safety. The skipper we had has been with the company for at least 6 years and has had many more years experience with a lot of different classes of boats.
I had total trust in his boat handling skills and approach to safety.
Enjoy the hour or so of the cruises - I did.

I know this is quite a silly question but are dogs allowed on the boat trips?

Not on the rib ride - at least I wouldn't have thought so! It was a tight squeeze with 10 of us on one and as mentioned, the sitting is not normal - you have to straddle and hold on to a rail. I would think that the gentler boat rides may allow guide dogs on. Your best bet is to call up and ask!
Is there a strict age policy for the boat trips? My son will be 3 and half when we visit but is the size of most 4/5 year olds. A big boy!

Apologies for the lateness of this reply but we advise children no younger than 2 on our boats so your son will be absolutely fine to go on a trip! As long as he likes to go fast and possibly get a little splashed!
