Firstly I think it's important to point out I'm a marine biologist so probably have a different opinion to most of the general public. I thought the educational aspect of the sea zoo was good. Lots of well thought out displays with useful information. I didn't however like the tanks the animals were kept in. I felt they were quite... More

Thank you for your review - all feedback is appreciated. All the water in the tanks is pumped directly from the Menai Straits - we have a pump house at the bottom of our drive. This provides the animals in the tanks with a very natural environment to live in, and provides them with a natural food source and temperature.... More

A good 'plaice' to look around, we visit the sea zoo every time we go to Anglesey for a holiday. I love the sea horses.

We had out 4 year old grandson with us and needed a clean interesting place to keep him occuptied.. The sea Zoo is fabulous. We run and family friendly. We stayed for ages and were glad we brought some butties and a drink - which we ate in the playground area after being in the zoo. Great day out

Loved the shark room, the jellyfishes, the set up of a shipwreck and the crashing wave. My six year old enjoyed it and the conservation programmes were interesting. The Rockpool cafe was good and the shop was very well stocked. There are also many outdoor activities such as crazy golf, huge bouncy castle with slides and adventure playground. We had... More

After a few days in Wales we returned home and review our experiences. Interestingly (or not!) the first place we actually thought of checking the reviews for was the Sea Zoo on Anglesey. Was slightly surprised at some of the negative reviews seen. The times of opening were clearly listed in all of the promotional leaflets we read. We spent... More
