Second time I have been to Holyhead golf club for afternoon tea and again it was just right. Great choice of freshly made sandwiches and cream cakes with the option of Earl Grey tea too! Theakstons draught mild on tap is tasty and one of my favourite pints. Food and teas all served on fine china cups, saucers and plates... More

The hospitality is superb, the hospitality alone would score 11/10. The deal we got was amazing, a bacon sandwich + a round of golf + dinner = £20 each. The only thing that let it down slightly was the tee boxes which were a bit woolly, but that can be understood for the time of year. Greens were true and... More

Interesting course but playing for the first time there are blind shots to contend with and few marker posts. James Braid designed, it is a tight course with some good views.

fantastic course if you can afford it , we found it very expensive and it was only that our own had closed we went there , more for proffesionals than amateurs like us , but if you can afford it and love your golf then this is for you

Greens on front side unputtable...fun holes 13 and 14...course condition was rough and most holes average in interest...don't think it should be top 15 in wales with these issues

I have been working on Anglesey since early summer, and am typically there three days each week. I first visited Holyhead golf club in early June, and have enjoyed playing the course throughout the lighter summer evenings. Teeing off around 6.15, I have found the course to be very quiet on most occasions. The clubhouse staff were always very welcoming,... More
