Established in 2001 The Big Blue Experience is a Professional Kite and Water Sports Centre based in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, West Wales. We strive to provide exceptional tuition and memorable adventures to individuals, families and groups. Our range of courses and activities are targeted to complete novices and intermediates looking to have fun, start a new hobby or explore the stunning coastline. Advanced coaching, safety boat cover and guiding is also available. The activities and courses we offer include:Power Kitng, Kiteboarding, Kitesurfing, Surfing, Coasteering, Stand Up Paddleboarding and Powerboating. In the Winter we relocate to Switzerland to teach Snow Kiting.Big Blue have a over 10 years of experience organising weekend and short break packages. Multiple activities, boat trips, yurt hire and beach barbeques can all be organised for you, reducing the stress and maximising your enjoyment.From December to April Big Blue transfers to it's winter base in Switzerland where we run winter holidays and snow kiting trips. These holidays are designed to offer incredible skiing and snowboarding alongside beginner to advanced snow kiting courses, coaching and guiding.From the extreme to the serene we hope to welcome you to the beaches and rugged coastline of Pembrokeshire or the stunning Swiss Alps to provide you with a professional, safe and memorable experience.

Incredible experience climbing upon the rocks, swimming through small caves & jumping off rocks under the safety of Ed- A once in a lifetime experience that you would never do alone. Would definitely recommend, we all felt safe the whole time with all the correct safety gear & briefings intertwined with the freedom that the ocean & nature immerses you in. 10/10

We all decided to give coasteering a go and rang up Ed to book in, he got us in right away and went to meet him the next morning.
We had the most amazing time, Ed was informative and calming in the slightly choppy waters. We would highly recommend and even suggest booking a trip to Newgale just for this!

Decided the day before we wanted to try coasteering, called up and book in for the next morning. Meet up with Ed, Edd and Eddy
We had an amazing morning, Ed was very attentive, knowledgeable, professional and a great laugh. He made us feel welcome and safe at within the choppy waters
Next time we are here we will definitely book back in for a surfing lesson

We had a fantastic week learning to surf with Isaac. He was very knowledgeable, patient and great fun. Under his supervision my daughters picked it up quickly and progressed to catching the “green waves” which they both loved! Fab time coasteering too. Ed was great to organise everything with. Thanks Big Blue - see you next year!

The gear we hired was great quality and the prices reasonable.
Main positive is the guys themselves. Really helpful. They put us off hiring on a day when the conditions were suitable. They were nice to my youngest who was self-conscious. Just made it all more pleasant. Which is what you want on holiday.
To find them you have to go to the very far South end of the beach. There are lifeguards at that end too, which was reassuring.

We were able to go onto the beach as a family, all thanks to the loan of the accessible beach wheelchair from Big Blue. Ed was brilliant in showing us how to use it. It’s very simple. You need some strong arms to get over the pebbles. Mum absolutely loved it.

What an amazing bloke ! Phoned 3 days in advance was nothing but helpful with having elderly with us and what a beautiful part of the world we got to experience 12/10

Wow!
We were supposed to go on a wet and wild Tuesday, but the guys were kind enough to allow us to postpone for the following day, which was great.
I was part of a group with a friend and three children (two aged 14 and one 8yrs) and another three young adults joined us.
It’s not a big fancy shop, but Isaac got us kitted up and took us up the road where after a 10min walk across fields, we got to a beautiful Cove.
We all loved it, and it was really quite exhilarating, given that there was a large swell following several days of gales previously. Plenty of jumping off rocks and swimming through caves. We did get a little chilly in the water by the end of it but the 2 &1/2 hour trip was well worth it and we’d I will do it again!
Great ice cream at Pointz Castle farm, afterwards!

What an awesome couple of days we've had. My husband, 15 year old son and his friend, did their first surfing lesson with Issac. By the end of it they were all starting to stand up. The next day myself and the 2 lads did another lesson with Fiona, pretty much the 2 lads we're managing to "ride the waves" I'm probably a more body board surfer😂, although I think I did manage to get a foot up on the board, both instructors were very patient and gave lots of encouragement. Would definitely recommend The Big Blue Experience.

Offers fantastic kitesurfing, coasteering and other watersports activities. We hired kayaks which were excellent value and a great way to explore the coastline.
