Day trip to Haverfordwest and wanted to visit this museum. All the tourist information and signage said they'd be open 10-4, even on a window to the museum itself. But when we got there, on a lower museum window was a sign saying they're closed until 10 April 2017. No one in town seemed to know this. So don't bother... More

Tiny museum, packed with local history. I'm not from the area but was not engaged by it at all. Paid £4.50 to get in but wish I had saved my money Walked into town which was also disappointing.

This museum is filled with a wealth of information and exhibits. The lady at the desk was very helpful and we found that we could park at the castle and walk down. The views of the town are great. Worth a visit.

I visited the museum after reading the review on Tripadvisor and view the items on display. Parked the car in the Castle forcourt and paid my £2 entrance fee, which included a visitors parking pass for the day. The museum is dedicated to local events and companies within the town of Haverfordwest. The reception room is dedicated to the castle... More

Small but well worth the visit. Lovely people. In the town. Good views. They intend to build a cafe next year which would be good.

Great little museum but really shame that it's not supported enough by the local Authority. The two gentleman volunteers were great to talk to and really knowledgeable.

We found this an interesting museum. Many exhibits and information packed into a small space. The surrounding ruins of the castle are also interesting. Will fill an hour if you are interested in reading all the information.

We popped in this attraction whilst on holiday. Great to see the history of the town and a look around the old castle.

This compact exhibition, whilst well hosted by Quentin, on this occasion, feels somewhat as though the council is less interested in promoting culture than it should be. I last visited the museum many years ago when it was situated in the old prison on the same site. That felt like a well planned and cherished collection attempting to tell the... More
