Very pretty large park. We camped last night, very quiet, safe, moderate mosquitos but no problem if you have insect repellent. Great area for bike riding, and lots of hiking trails as well.

This park is beautiful and the trails well marked. It's a great place for a few hours if nature. The park always has clean restrooms and no trash on the trails.

I was in Memphis for a conference and wanted to get some fall birding in. This park is less than a half hour from downtown, offered both driving and hiking birding opportunities and had friendly, knowledgeable staff working at the visitor center.

I would visit the pavilions, and see which you like. One of the pavilions is closed (#3 or #5?) But is a nice shaded area.
