Beautiful and close to Memphis. Plenty of walking trails from flat to steep hills. A wonderful lake with paddle rentals. Offers hunting, camping and Mississippi River access. Our favorite walking destination.

This park has cabins, fishing lake, nice paths, biking and hiking. A nice place to visit for nature lovers. Go visit the Shelby Forest General Store when you are there, especially if you are there for dinner on a Friday night.

I would visit the pavilions, and see which you like. One of the pavilions is closed (#3 or #5?) But is a nice shaded area.
