We went on the Skomer and Ramsey Island trip. We’d visited all the companies offering boat trips from St. David’s and chose Falcon Boats but don’t really know why - they just seemed genuine. We weren’t disappointed. Ffion and Hannah were both knowledgable and enthusiastic about the wildlife, as well as the geology and the history of the area. They communicated all this brilliantly, as well as ensuring all the customers were comfortable and having a great experience. The best bit for us was seeing the puffins at Skomer and other bird life but there’s plenty of opportunity to get close up to the seals on Ramsey as well. The health and safety matters were dealt with professionally and the boat looked to be in tip top condition. We had a fantastic trip. Many thanks.

We took my 90-year old mother on the trip around Ramsey Island during the Easter Holidays - she loves wildlife and this trip really is a must if you share that interest. The weather and sea conditions were perfect, and we got to see seals, razorbills, guillemots, shags, fulmars, peregrine falcons and oystercatchers at close quarters. The boat was expertly handled and the guide was knowledgeable and fascinating. Thoroughly recommended.

Excellent trip to Skomer and Ramsey with knowledgeable crew who were able to give a detailed account of the birds, seals and porpoise we saw on the voyage as well as explaining the geology of the islands rocks. Highly recommended!

This was the best boat trip we have ever been on!! We were due to go on good Friday but in typical welsh weather fashion it was misty. So I contacted the company and they said the trip was under review but may only be able to go to Ramsey and not Skomer as planned. They helpfully have us the option to move the trip to another day and so we did that. We ended up going on a beautiful day on the bank holiday Monday. All the staff were super helpful and ensured all of the children with us were looked after. The man on the boat was very knowledgeable and kept the kids engaged throughout which is some achievement when dealing with an 8 year old and 2 6 year olds for 2 hours!! We saw puffins, harbour purpoises and loads of seals. The scenery was beautiful! Such a good day! I would highly recommend Falcon due to the quality of the service but also the price! Another company was charging the same amount for both children and adults! £65! Falcon were very reasonable and charged a lesser price for the children.

We had an amazing tour - enjoyed every minute. I can`t wait to come back in the spring one day. What an opportunity to get around these islands and get so close to wild animals - still at a respectful distance, and without disturbing them. Seals were happily sleeping as we came and went. (Pictures taken using a 500m lens) Some brilliant story telling - fascinating stuff. Big fat thank you to the whole team.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. I’m really glad you enjoyed the trip and saw the wildlife doing its thing without any disturbance from us. We follow a strict marine code and the wildlife always comes first which often results in fabulous sightings as our wildlife is quite used to us and doesn't feel threatened. We look forward to seeing you again in the spring when there will be hundreds of visit g seabirds to be seen as well. 😊
