Absolutely fantastic boat trip with Falcon Boats! Excellent commentary from Jess, who identified all the fabulous birds we saw, and had brilliant details to share about the geology, history and wildlife. The porpoises coming so close to the boat were a highlight. Highly recommend Falcon boats - safe, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, highly skilled and thoroughly entertaining. We will come again!

Thank you so much for such a lovely review. I’m delighted you enjoyed it so much and will pass on your comments to Jess. It’s such. Lovely time of year for the birds and, Whilst quite shy, if you switch off engines and just sit the porpoise will sometimes come quite close and it’s always a treat when they do. We look forward to seeing you again. 😊

Having had a great trip round Ramsey last year, I really wanted to go again this year and it didn’t disappoint. Much appreciated Ffion offering to swap days for a better weather forecast that enabled us to see a fulmer chick being fed, rock pipit, seals and pups and kittywake and great black backed gull chicks as well as incoming Manx shearwater at sunset. Ffion’s expert boat control enabled me to get some great wildlife shots. I highly recommend the experience!

I've been round Ramsey many times by Kayak and a few on a tour boat but still learnt new things from the excellent tour guide. The boat driver was also excellent and kept most of us pretty dry despite some decent swell on the south end of the island. The boat is comfortable but also very quick across the water. Thoroughly recommend this if you are staying anywhere in Pembrokeshire.

Thank you so much for the lovely review and recommendation. Well done you for heading round Ramsey in a kayak, that’s definitely not for the faint hearted! I’m so glad you enjoyed the trip and even learnt something new. We hope to see you again. 😊

My trip was cancelled from the Saturday and moved to the Sunday which we had no issues. I was called on the Friday morning so plenty of time for us to jig the weekend plans around.
We had a very knowledgeable guide and the rib was obviously very well maintained.
We were lucky enough to see glimpses of porpoises on our way to Skomer and when we got there we saw hundreds of puffins from the rib. You don't get to get up close and personal but I am all about conversation and totally understand we need to be as invasive as possible.
On the way back from Skomer we got to see a few seals are some stunning views of the shoreline.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our little trip, it's not something a lot of people get to do.
If you love the coast, sea and wildlife this is going to be right up your alley.

Thank you so much for the lovely review, I’m so glad you enjoyed the trip. Thank you for your flexibility in moving to another day, the weather has been very challenging this year. The puffins are a delight and I love that you appreciate that their comfort comes first. 😊 we hope to see you again.

Fabulous trip to Ramsay island to see the sea birds and seals. Many years since I saw seal pups in the UK and have never seen a fulmar feeding its chicks before. Even saw kayakers taking on the swell amid the rocks across the sound. Expertly crewed by Ffion and Ieuan who had stunning knowledge of the island and its wildlife. They navigated us to isolated coves for the best views. Fantastic.

A terrific trip around Ramsey on a chilly day, but well insulated from the wind by the company-provided wind and rain cheater. Safely and sensitively skippered and accompanied by expert descriptions of the abundant bird and sea life and the island’s history and ecology. Extremely good value and highly recommended. Many thanks

Fantastic trip out to Ramsey Island and Sound. Weather while sunny was a bit choppy but we still saw many seals (plus pup in cave), Chough, Ravens and usual seabirds. Great fun going through the tidal race, going up hill at sea was a first. Credit to Jess on her excellent skippering, and our very knowledgeable guide (whose name I have to apologise for forgetting). Will have to try the Celtic deep trip next, weather permitting. Thank you again for a great morning, would definitely recommend Falcon Boats and use them again.

This was a fantastic trip. The staff on the boat were friendly, and they shared lots of interesting information about Ramsay Island, its history and nature. 1.5 hrs is the perfect time to explore, discover and be filled with awe.

We went on the Ramsay Island tour, which was simply excellent. Shoutouts to Jess and Sophie our guide, who really made the island come alive, with insights into history, wildlife, geology and more. It is wonderful to go on a tour that is so much more than a canned script, but a real experience of discovery. Plenty of seals and pups, an elusive porpoise and some good birdwatching - all balanced with a close-up view of the strong tidal currents and some fantastic caves. Highly recommended!

Fabulous trip around Ramsey Island today. We saw so many interesting species including porpoises, seals, jellyfish, oyster catchers, guillemots, choughs, razorbills, peregrines and others. All accompanied by an entertaining and informative commentary by Ieuan about wildlife and the local environment ably assisted by Dafydd at the controls.
