Great dog walk. Plenty of parking. Nice tea stop with outdoor seating for wet dogs. Activities available for all. Just wish I wore wellies.

Had a walk along the lake during my recent UK trip. The scenery here was breath-taking. There are lots of ducks and swans by the side of the boat launch area which you can feed them. Can come here for a little rest or picnic. Note that during winter, the wind here can be quite strong.

Stayed for two nights at this venue recently with adult son and a couple of his mates. We all had a brilliant time, the staff at the site were so helpful and friendly, they could not have done more for us. Weather was a bit windy but we still got out on the lake and caught some nice Pike. We... More

cycled to the lake from talybont-on-usk, took us about 50 minutes. There is a cafe at the lake and boat hire, it was a bit windy on the lake on the day we visited so only sampled the coffee and cake in the cafe. The notice boards tell you all about the area and its history and it is very... More

As we were driving through from our hotel, we found this lovely place by coincident. The view was breathtaking and it is a great place for family to spend time by having some interesting activities such as picnic, kayaking and maybe photo shooting too. Also there are so many 'friendly' horses around which children will definitely find it interesting.

We were a bit disappointed that the Camper-van site wasn't facing the lake itself, and the part where we were told to park had no sun at all and was boggy due from the previous rainfall. The lake was only a short walk away and the scenery was fantastic, loads of good water sports for young and older people. The... More
