We were travelling around in our camper van from Italy and happened to stop here. AMAZING Such a beautiful sight to see Apart from just sitting on the bench relaxing watching the ducks or people kayaking/canoeing/supping, theres actually a little further down a steam engine...More
Overlooked by mountains Llangorse lake is in a spectacular location. There is a lake walk which keeps away from the edge where there are wildlife protection areas but there are many glimpses as you make your way to Llangasty church. Boats can be hired to...More
If you are visiting to walk around the lake you will be disappointed as the trail does not follow the actual lake. I'm sure this is done to ensure minimal disturbance to wildlife but there are better places to go walking in Brecons or further...More

If you just want to view the lake the area around the jetties is flat, the walk around the lake has stiles , can be boggy if wet and is not wheelchair friendly. Their is a cafe 250 meters from the lake.
