A lovely return journey through gorgeous Welsh farm scenery with a beautiful steam locomotive working very hard up the steep gradients. Stand on the balcony of the first coach to fully appreciate the sights, sound and smell of steam! Park at Welshpool, do the return...More

Very friendly staff. An historic line with original engines. The carriages are a mixture from various places, I recommend sitting in a carriage from Zillertal Bahn from Austria. The railway is disabled friendly with toilets at both ends and an excellent tearoom at Llanfair. Journey...More

We went with a friend in a wheelchair and they have a lift to get on and off the train. Worth ringing in advance to let them know as they’ll get it ready. :)
