Soon to leave Cardiff and, as a long-time Gavin and Stacey fan, had to make this trip. On an overcast June day, it was not showing at its best but was easy to park close to the beach and spot the places from the series....More

First time visiting Barry Island and I was certainly not disappointed. The fairground was good value for money and plenty of rides available for small children. Cost £5.80 for 8 tokens which got my son on 4 rides. Few amusement arcades about including the one...More

More choice of rides these days compared to the past. Something for all ages really. Only gripe is you can't buy a wristband for rides as buying tickets can get expensive with average ride costing 2-3 tokens per ridez

Recently the bay has been regenerated to get more business in. The fair has been regenerated and the rides are good. The sandy beach is good for families while the iconic scenes from Gavin and Stacy remind viewers of the fun of Barrybados. There are...More

Yes its had a wonderful regeneration. It was good to see the local schools having a day out with their pupils. The beach has beautiful soft golden sand and although the sea is not blue it is clean and lots were swiming . We walked...More

I am glad someone else bought the fair rather than it being turned into soulless new built houses and flats. We dropped in here whilst at the transport festival and its ok value for money and will return here.

Never been before. Just moved to Wales and wanted to see where 'Gavin and Stacey' was filmed. Was a market along the beach front which was lovely. Lots and amusements, and beach shops. Stopped to have some lunch in the fish and chips shop in...More

We took our 4 yr old to the pleasure park, the tokens need rethinking to appeal. Every ride is 2/3 tokens, but the deals for the tokens are all in odd numbers. This does not appeal to younger children as the younger children rides are...More

It's Ok at best. Too few rides, a bit tired and not cheap. Also a bit light on health and safety as found out on log flume when we all banged heads as you are told to lean forward. Kids enjoyed the dodgems but you...More

I would like to know if this place has been closed down yet for very serious health & safety reasons. Dangerous , dirty, very rude staff. Thought it had been done up in 2016, no way!!!
