Good place to visit in the winter months with dogs as they are allowed on the beach which is a great one. Quite a few coffee shops to enjoy a cuppa and lots of games arcades for children and teenagers (and adults !). Most coffee...More

We had a lovely walk around Barry with Chay and Hooch. Lovely clean beach where Hooch enjoyed his run. Plenty of places eat and amusements for children. Places featured in TV program Gavin and Stacey easy to recognise.

Tried the big wheel out on the weekend, having been on the London one, the Cardiff winterwonder land one, this one is just way too fast to enjoy. The Music played in the park isn't very family friendly! (Lots of swearing) Just glad to see...More

I think it is a litle on the expensive side. Certainly car parking fees are way over the top. The fair looks good, my grandchildren like it. The beach is beautiful and well kept, although I would keep dogs off it all the year round.

We went on the Barry Eye, though London has forbidden official use of this name it's what locals have affectionately called it. It's a new Big Wheel of course! Great views over Barry, Barry Island & the Bristol Channel. It was a fabulous winter sunset...More

How the council allow this place to stay open is a mystery. Dangerous surface to walk on, potholes & rubbish everywhere, matting in arcade v uneven, very rude staff, if you cud find one. This is the place that gives Barry Island a bad name,...More

A word of advice.. I decided to treat my daughter to an afternoon over Barry Island on the rides. Excited soon turned to upset when she was refused entry on the trampoline. During the summer this ride was a firm favourite so without hesitation I...More

I've never used the beach huts, but I would assume the use of BBQs is a bad idea as many passerby and kids! Why not ask the people you are hiring from? HFB
