The Bendricks beach is a great place for any dinosaur enthusiast. There are many footprints and fossils left over, although many of them are now contained in museums. Not too long ago a completely new species was found there

its ok for a walk but I wouldn't spend an afternoon there I find its not as relaxing as other place since people are mostly all walking or running instead of just relaxing. I wouldn't blame it on the place but more on my own...More

The great thing about the Bendricks is that it's not as busy as its neighbouring beaches (Jackson bay, Whitmore bay, and sully beach). You can walk the rocks all the way around to Jackson bay if you wish, making a great coastal walk, which my...More

Great for young Dinosaur made children. With the sea behind you the footprints are located to the left of the runway. Go at low tide. Access is not great. Lovely scenery and you can watch the enthusiastic fishermen. However there are no facilities. Although it's...More

If you have any interest in geology, fossils or natural history this location is for you. It is accessible from a grassy area opposite the municipal recycling centre (dump) entrance. Just pull up on the left and cross the grass/rough ground. Once there clamber down...More

Need to emphasise, check the tide timing! Obviously avoid high tide as you will not see anything.
