What a beautiful walk! The sea views are spectacular and the land side is is very interesting too and includes lovely parks and resting spots. The walkways are very well maintained and clean and there are lots of clean toilets along the way if you feel the need. We walked all the way to Salmon Haul, which took about an... More

We set off along this walk just to stretch our legs but found it so interesting (views, people watching etc) that we continued all the way to Shelly beach (about 2ks) before turning back. There are a few coffee shops and restaurants along the way and plenty of seats if you just want to sit and watch the world go... More

If you're in Cronulla beaches area, don't miss a stroll along the beachfront and walkways. It isn't far from the southern end around North Cronulla to Wanda, but full of delight. Lots to see, get wet in the ocean or pools if you want, have a coffee or more. De-stress, it's free, and good for your soul.

Start off down on the South beach with a "Hang 10" Frappe at the awesome Barefoot on the Beach cafe' (tell Mick the owner that Big Ben sent you) and then take a leisurely walk all the way up to the top of Wanda and you even go up to the sand dunes if you fancy. They filmed some of... More

You won't be disappointed. I know I'm biased but this is possibly the most beautiful, clean, delightful view in all of Sydney. Cronulla is special and it is out of the tourist zone so you don't get the hoards of bogans from UK/Ireland that Bondi gets. Bondi is SOOOO overated.

And if the mood takes you, a swim in the beach pool or at the beach, where you can enjoy feeling a bit shark-safer than at home (WA). To look at: Other strollers, picnickers, surfers, life savers, surfboat rowers and the usual array of harmless people just enjoying not being somewhere else. A pleasant place where we felt safe. No... More

If you get a chance, a leisurely walk along the Cronulla esplanade will give you plenty of time to appreciate the choice of beaches, sea pools and quiet more isolated places that nestle into the rocks along the coastline. You can see across the Port Hacking River to the second oldest national park in the world. We caught the ferry... More

This was a lovely surprise when I visited Cronulla on a very hot afternoon. The walkway was in shade! The Rock Pools were very popular, and there were patrolled areas to enjoy the surf too. There are lots of places to sit and enjoy the view.

A great restaurant on the promenade at Cronulla Beach, Sydney. We did not pre book and was welcomed with a smile from friendly, helpful staff. Food & service were great in a semi open air restaurant with a beach atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble and at a chilled & relaxed pace. Highly recommended.

The walk along the coat from Cronulla is one of my absolute favourites in all Australia. It has great views, great facilities, easy access, great beaches, and of course, great restaurants and coffee shops nearby.
