So amazing to drive slowly through so much natural beauty close to town. Well worth seeing all these hidden treasures without going out of the way.

You get to see the gorge and an aspect of Beechworth across from the other side. Must have been an amazing sight with thousands of miners all around

This a 5km scenic drive, let done by the state of the unmade road. Council should be addressing this matter. However, there is much to see along the drive.

Great drive on narrow road, but one way, so no chance of meeting another car. Took our usual wine and nibbles for a sunset cocktail and found a lovely warm rock and a magpie who joined us!

On Easter Saturday as the town of Beechworth celebrated its famed Golden Horse Shoe Parade, we took a detour around the Gorge Drive. It loops around the Gorge with some great views of the valley and surrounding areas including the George.

It was lovely driving around the gorge. It's only one way so it makes driving and looking easier. There's a place to pullover just over the bridge so you can get out and take a couple of photos of the river and small waterfalls. It's...More
